    G'Morning~

Sure with Mr. Eubanks would bring the Shagging Wagon back out on tour! Those Scooby snacks are off the charts! I digress.

Another busy day. 8 more days until next shutdown - everyone is scrambling to get as much done as possible (in addition to playing catch up from last shutdown).

    Happy Thursday!

Lou, I'm glad you made it over the ice safely. And it would have worked, too, if not for those meddling kids!
((((Dennis))))) I think you're pretty awesome, too!
Steph: "It's only stuff." I agree. Stuff is meant to help us, not become our ball and chain. It's pretty hard to think that way all the time, though.
I'm glad Rita is feeling better, but now Sam and dw aren't? Well, shoot.
Stay safe, Mary! They warned us about ice yesterday, but it was fine when I drove in to work at 6:45am, and all day it got better. The parking lot at WW was a bit slick, but the roads were totally fine. My guide was worried (she's older and recently widowed and a bit fragile), so I picked her up.

We are doing our Valentine's celebration Saturday, so I've been working on preparations all week. My Coach (leader) friend Randi is coming for a few days to join us, which makes it even that much more special. I'm serving ham, cheesy potatoes, a layered fruit salad (in a pretty truffle bowl), and a spiralized beet salad. For dessert I'm making an angel food cake, stuffed with black cherry ice cream, and topped with hot fudge. It's a really simple thing to make, and I've done it before with various ice creams and toppings. We always like it.

I always struggle with coming up with gifts that are meaningful, too. So, this year I'm putting together what I call "Feel Better Boxes". They are white tubs filled with a plethora of items meant to help the kids cope with various emotions. The staple pieces in it are these: rings of cards that I made that have quotes, various truths I've learned, Bible verses, and specific lists of suggested things to do for each difficult emotion, and brand new grown up study Bibles. When I was thinking about it, I realized that they all still only have their teen/kid Bibles. I hope they like these!

    Good morning.

Skip - I'd be coasting into the next shut down.

Lisa - inviting a third person to Valentine's Day isn't exactly in keeping with what the holiday is all about. Or maybe it is and I'm just woefully behind the times. 😉

    I like the FBB's!

    Mornin' BBB.

Another buttkicking day at the office. This working for a living sure gets in the way of me having any fun, not to mention a few minutes for lunch or a good walk with my pups in the morning. Love my job but sometimes the owners wear me down. Going to throw my phone in a bucket of water today and get out.

Raine, yes the viral thing with a secondary immune mediated arthropathy was my GP's and my working theory. Just needed the Rheumatologist to sign off on that diagnosis. The presumptive gout diagnosis was throwing a wrench in my application for long term care insurance (DW and I decided that our kids were not going to have to worry about our care if it ever comes to that). My symptoms have completely resolved. I'm back to light weightlifting and aerobic workouts with good energy and no joint pain or swollen joints. But the mystery was what was the infectious cause? It turns out that it was probably Parvovirus B19 (the rheumatologist tested for it and I popped positive).

Borrowed this from a Medscape article on Parvovirus B19-"Transient small joint arthropathy may be the main clinical presentation of parvovirus B19 in adults. Most have some joint pain, but few progress to frank arthritis. In general, the timing of joint symptoms coincide with the expected onset of rash in children. Arthritis usually improves in 1-3 weeks but may persist for months. "

We suspect sunburn may have concealed any rash I may have experienced since this started late June.

So basically, after the viral infection, my hyper immune response was causing my joint swelling and pain. My immune response needed dampening or just time to calm down.

Ah, the Mystery Machine. Fond memories of Scooby Doo. Those darn kids were pretty good at uncovering the bad guy praying on the stupidity and gullibility of the average Joe. That photo is of a pretty sweet replica.

Raining here but gonna dry up soon. Temps around freezing but not buttasscold.

Sam, get some rest for that brewing cold my friend. Good you are staying home. Try not to touch anyone at yoga tonight.

    Hope Rita is better, Dave.

Saw video of Jack at the beach. Babe and Tess are super jealous.

Love the wonderful stories of your family and your celebrations, Lisa. So much joy.

    Dennis, how's Miss Emma?

Mary, getting the itch to get back to glamping? Did SO pull the trigger on a pontoon boat?

Sure hoping there is not another shutdown, Skip. Good to be prepared, though.

Kelly? Must be having a great time on cruise.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Morning BBB

Will send photos if the van when I can. Ron built it thru Costco yesterday so waiting to hear back on that then we have to go see the dealer.

Yes we will customize the inside ourselves. If you go to hashbrownvanlife dot com you can see our inspiration van. Hoping to do it in 90 day for $20000 most of which is solar and batteries etc.

Lou, our Valentine's Day celebration is a family thing. We started doing it about 16 years ago now, and we've done it every year since. These are from last year:

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Nothing casual about a Crozier Valentines Day dinner. I'm not going to comment on the beautiful women.
    • Happy Jack obviously likes his beach days.
    • DW and I had a nice shopping day with lunch in Athens while the car was getting recall work done.
    • It's got to be exciting to see a plan come together Steph.
    • It is supposed to hit 80° here today. Our chance to say stay warm Bob and Dave. A switch from last week.
    • This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I love starting my day with a photo af smiling Jack - and then Lisa's happy family, too!

Rita is still coughing some, but feels much better. We went out to dinner last night, so she wouldn't have to endure more of my cooking.

It's 18 degrees in Tumwater, this morning, with snow forecast for this weekend and next week. We hid as well as we could, but winter found us.

•This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Good advise! Ive been trying harder to not let work bring on negative feelings, esp. ones I carry home with me!

I love your Valentine dinner tradition, Lisa! And I will comment on the beautiful women in these photos above, just lovely!!! And that dress Lisa, wowza, fancy! This year you'll have a new member! How are things going with DD1, etc. I think of her often. Hope she will doing well and feeling good too! When is her due date?

Hope Rita continues on the up swing!

Ice, rain, turning to snow here, again! The temps drop again and high winds to come in tomorrow.

Happy Jack says he is definitely liking the climate change in his residence! Have you had to turn the heat on at all in the RV Raine?

Yes Lee, looking forward to glamping. My target date to open RV is April 13th, SO says that's too soon, but we'll see what weather is like. The pontoon is in storage now, so once spring is here, he'll go look at it and talk price. Then we have to address the waterfrontage issue, and a new pier. Our neighbor is over the property line at the shoreline, and its hindering our boat parking space. That's what happens when a property is abandoned for 10yrs.

    Hope Sam is feeling better!

    Be happy, be safe BBB!

Lisa - WOW! How spectacular! You rock!

Steph - thats a great website and rocking setup! The only suggestion is to paint the exterior to the Mystery Machine  Hope to see you all in DC region sometime!

Nothing beats a wet Happy Jack photo to start your day! Well, an AB and Tess wet dog field moment is just about as great! Lee - I know those customers are a PITA - but boy, do we ever appreciate your voice on the other end of the phone when it matters most!

    Sam - you're a trooper for substituting! How's DMIL?

Glad to hear Rita is on the upswing, SGM!

No postcards from Moody's. At least Lou made us feel part of the experience  That was a great daily pictorial......
