    Schoolwork day and maybe some quality time with remote control later.

    Great photos of you shoveling and your home covered in snow, Dave. I'm surprised that you have a real snow shovel since it rarely snows there.

    How's that new car smell, Skip? Vroom-vroom, WHEEEEEeeeee. I thought Riggins was suffering from CTE. Hope I am wrong. Loved watching that guy run behind his hogs.

    Raine must've gotten distracted by the seagulls.

    I think the Moody's are probably exhausted from their vacation.

    Going to the transfer station with garbage and recyclables. Then play with pups on birds after noon.

    Riggo is suffering CTE. Not sure when this Pilsner was released - had never heard of it until yesterday - but MAN - is it all that and a box of chocolates!

    Morning BBB

    Snowed a couple for inches overnight. Freezing rain expected tomorrow. Im driving 3 hours south for new store manager training. Hopefully the roads won't be too bad. I'll mostly be in a truck route so should be well treated.

    Need to get to the grocery store. Should have gone yesterday when it was just cold. Thankfully trader Joe's is only 3 blocks away. If it wasn't freezing and slick I would walk.

    Maddie's good and We are off of a walk soon! Smart dog this one, and well behaved.

    I hear what your saying about the boat, Dennis. But I really want a used 4stroke pontoon in great condition for a great price! Just to tool around this summer while the kids decide if they are going to sell or wait awhile... Market there is slow and hasn't really moved much since the downturn 15 years ago. The fibs (wink wink) are bringing some $ back in, hopefully more to come. This is one of the few waterfront lots left, with no build on it.

    Aldi's for me after our walk. Im getting sick of the big box grocery we've been using, their produce fades fast and Im tired of the crowds.

    • I had a pontoon boat on Lake Wedowee in AL. Had my own dock so it was always convenient. They are relatively low maintenance. That's the way to go IMO.
    • That is quite a storm you are getting Dave. No need to send it east.
    • How was Black Beauty's maiden road trip Skip? Don't make it sound too good. I have bills to pay.
    • I watched the first game of Alliance of American Football last night. Well, at least I watched the 1st half. Yawn.
    • Steph, if you like seafood try the Cioppino at Trader Joe's. It's in the frozen food section. I learned about it on the WW bulletin board and it is a staple in our house now. Point friendly.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    The power was out for about seven hours. It was cold, this morning: 15 degrees. Supposed to snow again tomight, but it's sunny, now.

    I have two of those shovels, Lee. You don't need them until you really need them, then they're handy to have around. My neighbor has it figured out. He waits until I have clearwed my drive, then comes over to borrow my shovel.

    If I had a pontoon boat - I'd need a driver. I'm suspecting that a leisurely stroll around a lake on a pontoon requires a nice cold drink in arms reach :smiley:

    Maiden voyage to VFW with Black Beauty went well. Finally figured out how to switch stations!
