I had my surgery 6/12/18 and I am at about 1000-1300 a day. (Unless I eat like crap)

1000-1200. But I have to log everything because I can eat more if I am not careful.

I gained a lot of weight back. No mystery, I stop tracking my food, stopped weigh in, and started eating more and more little snacks along with Starbucks Venti mocha lattes or Starbucks Venti White Choclate Lattes every day. I’ll bet my caloric intake was 2000 per day.
So, I’m disappointed but not down. We learn from our mistakes. DO complete your food and exercise diary every single day! Weigh once a week! Watch out for snacking behavior. And best of luck. I’m 5 years out.

I had my surgery May 2019 and I eat between 800-1000 per day depending on what I’m doing that day. It seems to work for me as I track exactly where those calories are coming from. Best of luck to you

I had surgery on Aug 14th and I'm down 49 pounds. I'm typically eating 930-1000 calories a day.

I'm one year out from surgery and my weight loss has stalled for months. My nutritionist told me I was eating too few calories (1,300 a day) and told me to increase it to 1,800 a day. This is really difficult and I find myself eating more carbs than normal. I haven't gained and I'm still maintaining my 65 lb loss.

Does anyone know the proper macro ratio after GS?
