Another rare day in which MFP told me that I did not eat enough. That is not my usual pattern.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes, over an hour on my trusty treadmill, ol' Betsy(yeah I named my treadmill, what? that's not that weird) she helped me hit my 10,000 step goal for 3 days in a row so yay for me reaching my first PB!!

Pre-logging is Magic! Once I thought of it, I wondered why I hadn’t been doing it all along!
My Apple Watch calculates my Energy (Active + Resting Energy) each day & my FITIV app subtracts my Calories Eaten from that.
I find if I keep my deficit at zero I lose weight. If I keep it higher, I lose more!

Planned pass day for Thursday. Last day of vacation, wanted to indulge a bit more. Still tracked all I could.
I am still trying to loose about 25 more pounds, so in general I don't eat back exercise calories. If I do, it's a planned thing in a weekend or occasion when I need those extra calories in my "daily budget." Or, if I have a day if intense exercise I just might need more fuel.

I aim to eat under my 1344 daily cals, try not to go under 1200. I don’t eat my exercise cals back, I have it set to where they aren’t added to my daily set cals.
I don’t know if any of you had trouble logging in earlier on the app, I trie several times but it would never load, maybe MFP updating, fixing bugs.3 -

Do much encouragement was given me yesterday!! I have flipped my mindset. This challenge is NOT me being as good as or better than anyone else in this group. It's about me being better than I was a week ago. It's about me being able to see the changes I'm making to reach my goals. It's about me taking charge of me.3 -
Yes x 3, my exercise was walking walking walking around DC looking at the cherry blossoms! (I had an early meeting, so I went extra early and just walked and gawked.)
I allow myself to eat back exercise calories, but I usually don't eat them all. This works for me.2 -

@RangerRickL Since I am still new at this challenge (my third month) and I have dieted SO MANY TIMES over the past 20 years, I am taking baby steps to keep myself motivated.
My Goal is to stay under my calories without the exercise. However, that doesn't usually happen. I'm getting there. But in the meantime, I do allow myself to use the exercise calories without counting it as a pass day. What I do like is seeing the difference the exercise makes in my day. I calculate my diary after all is done, and see my 5 week predication. What a wonderful difference when I complete the diary after the exercise is added in. Shows me how important my exercise is to my health.1 -
