I'm going to post some of the back-to-basics posts. Every month, there are new team members who will benefit from these posts.
Tracking: For the next several days, I will explain the fundamental concepts of the UAC team rules.
Tracking is the most essential of the healthy habits that will lead you to your goals and/or help you maintain your goal. What is profoundly important about the UAC is that although you sign up each month, success is achieved over many months. This is not a fad or a biggest loser and then bounce back challenge. This is a healthier life challenge.
Don't become discouraged by the difficulty in changing your habits. Habits can be very helpful or very hurtful. We want you to have the helpful healthy habit of tracking your caloric intake and exercise output.
One of my business mentors would often say, "Every organization has systems which are perfectly designed for the results that currently produce."
When we apply that concept to the human being, it would be something like this, "Everyone has habits that are currently causing us to be over, under or maintaining a healthy weight and fitness."
If you want to change your life, then change your habits....that takes time; desire; accountability and picking yourself back up when you have fallen.

I've been out of touch for a while. I am working on getting back, but no promises.
Still at goal weight (and a touch below).
Tracking has slipped and I need to get back into that habit. I usually log weight and breakfast (714 day streak on MFP). I stay mindful of everything I eat for the day. Most days I get 20 mins activity (today was a 5km walk).
So today is a yes x 3 for me. Monday was yes x 2 (tracking short) and Tuesday was a yes x 2 (tracking also short). So pass x 2 for me this month (so far).
Intention is to spend at least 15mins reading and posting.
My goal this month is not to make circle. If I do it's a bonus, but not my aim.
My goal is to stay engaged here and try each day to adhere to the goals of the group.
I've noticed a number of people regretfully posting that they have pass days already. Should not be a regret.
If a pass day is unplanned, learn from it, forgive yourself and treat tomorrow as a new day.
If a pass day is planned, celebrate it.

Yes yes and yes. Exercise was 9 holes of golf after work. Today was a brilliant day. I’d planned all of my meals and knew I was playing golf so I knew all day that I would be succeeding. Have a great day everyone. 😎5

Still feeling strong and motivated. A little hungrier today than yesterday but I was able to fend it off with water.

Exercise: Lots of walking. I walked the Mall, shopping am, then after lunch from the station to Ulster Museum in Belfast for a Leonardo Exhibition, then back to the train station. Over 10000 steps today.
