Mornin' BBB.
3, maybe 4 inches of snow overnight. Just cold enough for it to stick and accumulate, but not for long. Actually quite beautiful...I'll see if I can get a photo and post it.
Hope Sam is feeling OK. Haven't seen any DMIL posts in a while.
Kelly, that seems to happen all to often these days when a relative has been living with someone recently deceased. They can't afford the rent and/or the will dictates that the house has to be sold. Generally they know ahead of time, but often that surviving relative is ill prepared and its a real SNAFU. Thankfully that is not going to be an issue for Mary (my DW). There could be an issue with the trusts for the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Meeting with the very expensive lawyer in 10 days for the reading of the will.

I am spending my kids inheritance every day (oh, wait! I don't have kids). I tell my Dad each time he starts talking about "cutting back" to spend anything he thinks he needs to save for me. Enjoy your life - spend it if you got it! Carpe Diem.

Today is washing up the Black Beauty and hoping to get the Jeep back from the sound shop. Had new AppleCarPlay and GPS and new speakers installed. Will hopefully help me Dad when he visits. He needs GPS.

Good morning, BBB! I woke up at 4 today, worried about Lily. She'd gotten into Dd18's room last night and ate everything she could find, and was sick all night. She seems totally fine today, except she needs a bath now. I'll do that in just a minute.
Thank goodness for spring! The snow is gone, the sun is out, and the temps are above freezing. There is hope!0 -

Nice snow scene Lee but I'm done with that now here anyway lol.
Maddie girl's spending the night, the kids are going to Chicago for the Eric Church concert. She needs her bangs cut, maybe I'll give her a bath too, ha!
I'm purging some of my home files this a.m. been putting that off too long. I need it done before Spring weather comes and I want to be outside!

- Picture of a Snowball bush (Viburnum) in our backyard that we pruned heavily over the winter. I was afraid it might not have flowers this year. That appears not to be the case.
- 20% off sale at the local nursery today so we are going shopping for all the plants for the potted garden.
- Tonight there is a happy hour social at the clubhouse.
- Started off at 40° this morning but headed to a high of 70° today.

Good morning BBB friends.
Spent the morning edging, them mowing the lawn. That's the first time I have mowed the grass in a couple years. DW insists on doing it herself, nowrmally, but asked me to do it, since she has been ill for so long. Then she spent the entire day outside movine bushed from one part of the yard to another. I'm glad to see her get out again, but she'll be sore, today.
Had great fun watching basketball in the afternoon. The Ducks rolled over Wisconsin and the Lady Ducks crushed Portland State. I don't follow the game enough, nationally, to fill out a bracket. I just root for my alma matre ('74).
I'll be clearing invasive blackberries and planting native species for a community service project this morning. Hope it doesn't rain.0 -

Morning BBB. Apparently I have been MIA for most if the week. Lots of long days but 38 new stores are successfully opened. Yes Mary there is a new one in Muconeugo. I was their phone a friend but it was too far to get to to help. Photos look amazing. It is tiny.
We had to cut through Kansas to get around the flooding coming home Thursday night. Didn't see much but the photos I have seen are devastating. Lost if Offutt air Force Base is under water and several towns around. Lots more snow melt to happen so it's going to be a long summer.
Low key weekend then on to Kansas and Oklahoma next week.
We still don't have a delivery date on the van so may have to find plan B. Lease is up on the appartment in July so time is running out.
