We have 35 chickens, 3 geese, 2 dogs and recently built a barn for our future alpacas and mini

I've loved horses forever. My mom used to tell me as a two-year-old I would just sit and stare at a horse lamp they used to have. When I was 13 I got my own horse and spent so much time with him a boy broke up with me when I was 16 because I was always with my horse. Boon is beautiful.

@RangerRickL What a beautiful picture, thanks so much for sharing! Like @BonnieHosk85 I have loved horses forever!!!! We used to have a stable behind our house, and I'd spend hours up there just petting the horses and watching them run. Beautiful animals! My daughter inherited the love of horses and every year on vacation we would always find a place to go horseback riding. We definitely had some amazing rides ranging from along the beach in California to up in the mountains in Wyoming!8

Exercise-yes-personal training day at the gym
I just have to say that I’m rather pleased with myself. Today was my return day from the week long recreation water sports week. What I didn’t expect was a leave time of 3am. And yet, I still got to the gym for a personal training appointment. And yes, I’m really really tired but the day wasn’t wasted due to an inconvenient travel time. 😁

@RangerRickL Beautiful pic of you with Boon. My older sister didn't fare too well from a horse incident when she was young...so the remaining 4 of us siblings were never allowed to be near a horse. I have been on a horse as an adult...but just for brief trail rides. Our best friends have a Morgan farm, though.

I can respect that position...we didn't have any pets for 10+ years as we tend to travel quite frequently. Our most recent addition, "Annie," gives us such delight that it really is a pleasure having a pet in our home, again.

Love seeing the pictures of all of our pet friends. Just hope no one posts a pic of their pet snake
. Here is a recent picture of our Annie. We tell her she's "booful" every day! She covers herself up with her blankie every night and doesn't come to greet us in the morning until she knows we're awake. I shouldn't say she never barks (but almost never)...I think I've only heard her bark 3 times, at most, in the last 4 months. She is just a delight.

Love all the photos of such wonderful animals! (@Ketch_22, now I want a mini horse and alpacas. Mostly to cuddle.) No pets myself, as I am allergic to fur and feathers, and currently happy to be totally independent. But I do miss affectionate animal cuddles.6 -

I love seeing everyone’s companions!
My sweet girls, LuLu and Chica. My favorite part of having them in my life is how they wake up each morning so full of joy and love and happiness. It’s contagious.
Lol they also take a nap about 30 minutes after they get up so I guess it’s easy to be that happy first thing.
