Day 9 (30 Day Shred)

Forgive me I couldn't find the topic for this.

Anyway! Day 9 for me has been much much better than the others. I really needed the rest day I had yesterday both mentally and physically. I am only just about able to make it through the first cardio section of level 1. I had to stop because I forgot to turn the fan on and then found it had been unplugged. I lost maybe 10 seconds doing that. I'm still counting it as a break because I then has to rewind the DVD, so I could carry on.

I did love the suggestion of using your own music. I did that today with Running Trax and noticed that the speed they do the movement varies on screen depending on the shot. I'm finding it easier to follow the beat from my own music.

I'm thinking though I might do one extra day of this level before moving onto the next one. I want to be able to say 'nailed it' before I do the next level. Plus the lateral raises are still killing me. :drinker:

I'm glad your body is starting to get used to it. It's a great feeling when you can start doing something that just days ago was too hard. I used to take several 5 sec breaks to catch my breath -asthma, but yesterday, day 11 of level 1, I didn't need any. You will get there. Take as long as you need on each level, it's not a race and your body will let you know when you've finally "nailed" it :)
I'm going for at least 14-15 days on level 1. I think I could move on now but I want to be sure. Congrats on your progress!
