In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! :)

Hi everyone! Well, I gave up on Capital in the 21st Century and sent that back to the library. I might come back to it after I finish the master's program this summer, but if I'm going to understand any of that, I'm going to need to find some supplemental materials to help me through it. I just don't have the time it's going to require right now.

But I got On the Come Up and absolutely FLEW through that one. It was nice to have something that I understood! Plus I really loved the characters and the main character was just delightfully imperfect. Loved her.

Sunday - Finish and submit essay. Grade 10 research essays. Set up first directions and class website. Color for 30 minutes. Read 10 pages Cross-Training. Park run: 6.5 miles. Write a blog post.
Monday - AM walk. Oncology checkup. Grade 10 research essays. Pick up meds from dentist. Park: Intervals/Walk. Discussion post. Lang8 post.
Tuesday - AM walk. Check & update plans. Grade 10 research essays. Walk to 10k steps. BodyPump. Quiz. Discussion comments. Coloring party!
Wednesday - Check & update plans. Grade 10 research essays. Write & print sub plans. Color for 30 minutes. Read 10 pages Cafeteria. Park run: 3.5 miles. Draft essay.
Thursday - AM walk. Dentist checkup. Load and run dishwasher. Fold laundry and put away. Scrub bathrooms and kitchen. Put dishes away. Walk to 10k steps. BodyPump.
Friday - AM walk. Check & update plans. Grade 10 research essays. Color for 30 minutes. Read 10 pages Cross-Training. Park: Walk/intervals. Finish essay.
Saturday - YMCA for strength and Zumba. Read 10 pages Cafeteria. Groceries. Revise & proof essay. Submit.

Edit: Whoops! I forgot the coloring party. And I had a book title crossed out instead of italicized, hahaha ;D

Hi Molly-good goals. Great to see you here.

I did get in more than 6,000 steps yesterday. Not as good with eating goals. Better than last week but not where it needs to be.

    Have a great Tuesday everyone!

    Hello Everyone!

Great on steps Paulette. I was so close to mines but pooped out and still did not get my sleep. I always splurge a little on weigh in day. But not too bad. Just checking in to stay mindful!

    Have a great day!

Hi everyone! I'm doing pretty well with goals. I missed the coloring party, though, because I had that it started at 7, and when I checked in the afternoon, it said it was 4-6! I don't know how I got so mixed up.

Don't know if I'll make BodyPump tomorrow. I get sedated at the dentist, so there's a good chance I'll be staying home after that!

    Keep on keepin' on! :D

Hello ladies - have a great day

Clicketykeys- hope the dentist appt went well. Glad that your goals are going well. Keep moving forward.

Molly- good consistent checking in. You are making progress with your goals.

2 days of over 6,000 steps. Not doing great with eating pattern. I have to find that balance. Keep going ladies.

Had a few things come up that changed my plans. It rained yesterday morning, so no AM walk, and then I had a meeting that went FOR EVER yesterday evening, so I didn't get my intervals in either! Ugh. And then I got roped into chaperoning prom, so I need to take a change of clothes and shampoo and conditioner AND I NEED TO TAKE A TOWEL to the Y because I'm going straight from there to my hair appointment. Then it'll be back home to get changed and work on my essay and then out to eat with another chaperone and HER husband, then to prom, and then FINALLY to bed. Whew! Today is going to be a full day. I *might* be able to get a nap in. We'll see.
