Summer school Professor? That's how you pay for new house.
DS#2 is finishing up 2nd year law this week. He is hunkered down. We almost had to put him up in a hotel room for finals so he didn't have to deal with his loser room mates. He's moving out in June.
DS#1 is graduating from Army Basic in Ft Jackson, SC this week. He has not enjoyed it much, although he has made some good contacts through his drill sergeants. He has a few days before he has to report for Warrant Officer School at Ft Rucker, AL.

Good morning BBB crew.
Nobody enjoys basic training - especially those who shouldn't need to be there.in the first place. He'll like Rucker better.
Made a late start, yesterday, but got in a pleasant hike in the Olympics. I'll do a long one on Friday. The forecast for then is 88 degrees - a record high - so it will be good to get up in the mountains to escape what passes for heat, up here.

- Lee, if DS1 is driving to Ft. Rucker he'll come right past my hood on I-20. I would be honored to buy him lunch (dinner or breakfast).
- Not much on the agenda today. I guess I need to pull my Boys State stuff out and go through it. I leave in about 2 weeks.

Good morning BBB
I'm home sick today, this cold has kicked my butt.
I did paint the tree also Steph. It's raised up on the wood background, so wasn't hard to do. I used a small sponge brush for the larger areas, and a tiny art brush also.
Dinner last night with 3 giggling 12yo 's was fun.
Florida life looks like it's serving you well, Raine! Have you and Kelly met irl before, I can't remember?

I did not enjoy Fort Jackson at all,
Lee, know you are proud of both!!!
Friend and neighbor passed away yesterday, his wife has dementia no family except sister in NC.
Then learned another friend and neighbor whose DH passed last summer learned yesterday she has breast cancer, no family nearby only sister in FL.
Beans running, okra up, tomatoes and squash blooming; if I can keep varmints away may have a good garden this year. Think I need to plant a row of speckle butter beans or butter peas.
Skip, sounds like too much work and not enough vacation.
