In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.

2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.

3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! :)

Hello Ladies- Hope the week is going well.

Today I went to the gym. I spent 18 minutes on the treadmill. Doesn’t sound like much but it is a beginning. So my goal this week is to exercise 2 more times. My hip seemed okay though it did not like the bike. I will try again.

    Have a good one.

Good job Paulette!! 18 min on tread mill is awesome!

Thanks for getting us started. I wish I could join you, but I will stop by when I can!

I am cleaning my Dad's building out for sale, so it has been a stressful couple of days

keep up the good work! I will be able to join all next week!

Thanks Molly- I am going to go again tomorrow and try for at least 20 minutes. Hang in there with cleaning g out your dad’s building. I understand how draining and time consuming that can be. You can get through it.

@ForestRose I salute you starting the treadmill! That's a really good start. Even after years of routine cardio we often need to start all over with a new workout machine. Good job.

@Molly You always inspire me when needed. I know the stress of getting parents property in order. Smart move to just get it done now. I'm still holding on to my parents estate for no good reason. Stay strong!

    As for my mini goals...
I'm sticking with getting back down to business. Daily weight and calorie tracking are a renewed priority. Since re committing myself I have been consistent except when no scale was available but all calories have been recorded.

Today the best I could do was a 30+ year old analog scale 😅. That's what's available so I used it. No excuses.

Exercise had fallen off for legitimate reasons. Issues have been mostly resolved. It's time to get back to work and build up to my former glory as banal as that is.

Here a great day everyone 😀

    Hey everybody! I'm still here!

This is the last full week of classes at my school; next week has final exams for underclassmen on Thursday and Friday. Students with good grades and attendance can be exempt from the finals, so my goal for this week is to get all current work graded and as much late work graded as possible.

One of my goals for the summer is to take more time when I'm prepping, and when I freeze stuff for later, to weigh it and label it so that I can log things accurately. I'm hoping to do a bit of that on Saturday.

    HELLO EVERYONE

YESTERDAY WAS RESPECTABLE DESPITE HAVING A LARGE APPETITE. I HELD TO MY CALORIE RANGE BY FIXING A VERY FILLING LOW CALORIE DINNER.

TODAY'S GOING WELL BUT I STILL HAVE A BIG APPETITE SO I'M GOING TO PICK UP SOME ZERO TO 10 CALORIE PER CUP BEVERAGES TO KEEP ME SATED.

I'VE USED THAT ANCIENT SCALE TO WEIGH AGAIN TODAY. ONE POUND UP BUT THAT'S NOT UNEXPECTED AFTER THE WEEKEND AND GIVEN I ATE A FULL MEAL MINUTES BEFORE. I WON'T BE ABLE TO WEIGH TOMORROW. SATURDAY I'LL HAVE A GOOD SCALE AGAIN.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY EVERYONE ❣️

Hi clicketykeys- good to see you. Your prep goals sound like a good plan.

Msw- good for you sticking with it and having a low calorie meal. Keep going.

I did not go to the gym yesterday because of hip pain. I did go today and spent 23 minutes on the treadmill. I tried the bike again but it hurt. I will stay at it.

Molly- hope you are making progress with things. We are thinking of you.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

HELLO ALL AND HAPPY FRIDAY TO YOU 😁

I'VE FALLEN BEHIND WITH MY FOOD LOG AND I HAVE NO SCALE TODAY. I'LL BE ABLE TO WEIGH TOMORROW AND MY FOOD LOGGING WILL BE UP TO DATE BY THIS EVENING.

I WAS A BIT CARELESS AS I ENDED YESTERDAY. POOR PLANNING LED ME TO EAT WHAT WAS EASIEST. MY EVENING MEAL WAS TOO HIGH IN CARBS AND CALORIES AND TOO LOW IN NUTRITION. STILL, I DON'T THINK I'VE DONE MYSELF ANY REAL DAMAGE.

Thanks 😀 for the well wishes.

I managed to stay under control although I've in basic survival mode. For me that means no binge eating but still not on plan. Also, a bit of over eating because I strayed from designated meal times.

This was a hard few days but I tracked my food even though I did not get around to recording everything. My OCD tendencies kicked in to the point where I was saving trash since Friday evening so I could have the complete info needed for accurate calorie counting without neglecting priorities. I threw it out last night.

That's my personal brand of crazy. 🤯 Tracking and weighing
in are what's important. Recording the detail and totally in my apps are secondary. Fortunately I've kept my life priorities in line.

Venting about the details of these wretched few days has no benefit right now. Life happens to all of us and there is no excuse for going off the rails with every stressful event. What matters is that I kept up with monitoring my eating and my weight.

Today I'll be able to record everything in my apps including a weigh in. My cardio is done for the day. After cleaning up today's priorities I'll get to my strength & abs.

Have a great day everyone. 😃
