I had a baby 1 month ago, and up until Monday I was pumping breast milk, and about a week ago gradaully decreased pumping up until monday morning when I last pumped. I have an 8 yr old who I did the same thing with. THis time around, my breasts seem more tender, and today I noticed a lump in my breast that has me freaking out a little. Its painful, but my whole breast is sore and so is the other one, so not sure if the lump is actually painful or its just the breast. The lump is at 12 oclock and is not at my nipple, but right next to the nipple line. I am wondering if maybe this is a clogged milk duct or something like that??? Never had this before. I plan to call dr tomorrow, but hoping someone may have had this and can put my mind at ease.....Thanks,!!!!

If it hurts, it's probably a blocked duct, especially if you just stopped pumping. I don't have personal experience, but I would guess that the lumps you worry about don't hurt. I know it's hard not to freak out, though. Breathe, and keep us posted!
Edited because autocorrect sucks sometimes0 -
sounds like a clogged milk duct but to be on the safe side i would have the Dr. check it out0

Thank you all!!!
It turns out it was a clogged milk duct. I decided to try to pump first thing this morning and once I did, the lump went away!! Thank you all for the responses!0 -
