Good morning.
Woke up at 3 and couldn't fall back asleep, so I've been working and will catch the butt-thirty train into the office.

Crazy weather here. Down to 40 last night. Up to 80 today. Almost 90 by Friday.
Ruby Sue slept all afternoon evening and night. She’s up and moving slowly. Let put a whimper when she stretched.
I called 911 yesterday due to dinner dictator, aka ds2, aka Reilly having a car on fire. He picked it up from the brake shop which is about 5 blocks away ,DH was following him without a phone and saw the flames. about a block away from home
Ds had no idea. He pulled it in the drive and flames were shooting out from the rear fender well. Brake line on fire. DH is yelling at him. It’s all on video. I’ll share it on Facebook. Always something.

Skip, not sure how I would have responded. I guess a therapist would say something like "how did that make you feel when I cut you off?" or "is this about me or is this about you?". But I'm not a therapist. I'm a java addict and it would probably would have been a more childish response.

I don't have to go fast but the Black Beauty has a growling exhaust and sounds loud sometimes - lending the appearance of fast.

In the 90s here these days so Jack and I walk early or not at all. All these years of treadmill and he has transitioned easily to pavement walks. No leash required and he keeps me at a 15 MM pace which is a good walking pace.

Spent hours trying to get ATT-Uverse working on TV downstairs before grandkids get here next week, now they said they have enough information to send us a new receiver; seems like they could have figured it out without wasting 3 hours of my time.
Weather forecaster now predicts 100+ for weekend
I assume brake-shop is replacing a vehicle.

45F here and suppose to climb up into the uppers 70's and sunny by 3pmish, and for the weekend!
Glad that fancy white car didn't get any damage Kelly! What did the Fire Dept. say? I saw DH with his garden hose action. At first I thought he went back in gate for a fire extinguisher... glad everyone and the other car is safe! Whats the damage to the car on fire?
I planted my mail ordered annuals last night. Im kinda disappointed as to just how small the plants are. Maybe by Sept. with this weather, they will be in full on mode? Tossed a $2 tomato plant from Aldi's in a big pot on the deck. Have 3 containers to plant tonite, these flowers are from a local store though-not mail order, much more reasonable and good sized.

Grilled marinated chicken breast, with chuncks of summer squash-bell peppers/red and green-onions-mushrooms and zuchinni strung on kaboobs are my leftovers for lunch today. They really turned out great! yummmm
