I think it was just last Thursday the 20th when I posted last and said something about not doing what I did in May and quit tracking at the end of the month...….not to let life get in the way...…….well low and behold here I am a week later.
It has been an adventure. My husband told me when we were dating that if I stayed with him it would be a roller coaster...…..it has been. Our friend passed away last Wednesday. We kept our plans to go away for the weekend. We went away to get our new boat on the water because Kansas lakes are closed due to flooding...…...the lake we chose to go to has not been affected by the flooding in the region...…..but, the roads......that was a different story....we did get home in time for the visitation, which was starting to panic hubby, he did not want to miss his buddy's funeral, along with committing to being a pallbearer. I tried getting my food tracked while away but could not get service most of the time. Both kids were home for the funeral, which was great to have all four grandchildren in the house, but very hectic, so taking time to log was not a priority.
July is going to be a month of challenges as we leave for vacation on the 18th through the rest of the month. My weight loss is important...….so I have got to keep getting back on the horse and sticking with you guys.
I have enjoyed reading your posts although, like Theresa said, many times I am scanning through because I am rushed.7 -
