Yesterday, our son, Ethan, married, Taylor. The wedding took place in an old growth rain forest within a 5 minute walk from the Pacific Ocean in northern Oregon.21 -

June 1: Started off with a great day.
Exercise: 100 min walk in AM. (Will need to switch to morning walks due to heat soon)
Under by 511 calories (a very large deficit for me.)
Tracked all.
I have been working on some things with a healer & my session Friday night seemed to transport me to a new place that (at least today) wanted to be leaner & to only eat when I’m hungry.
My monthly labs were excellent❣️

good day today exercised, tracked, and am under calorie limit. pleased but not as emotionally intense about challenge as I was this time last month x I'm focused but it's a looser fit if you know what I mean, not as all encompassing not as perfectionist x let's see how it goes eh. hope you've all had a good day - I love reading the posts x7 -

What a beautiful day we had here today! Very energizing ... 2 horses ridden, THE GARAGAGE ORGANIZED AND CLEANED (on my to do list for 3+months), several household chores done, and a day of healthy eating (everything logged). So, yes x 3 for the day.
Also, so happy to see a number of farmers finally able to get into their fields ... this is a very worrisome time for our farmers. Hope this weather will hold for a bit.9 -

Forecast bad weather, so another quiet day (no flying). Late-ish walk. Started raining 10 mins in and thought it was going to be just a light passing shower. Did not turn out that way. Was glad of a hot shower when I finally got home.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 20 minutes low impact aerobics. No outside walk today...other than short walks with Annie. My boyfriend (a/k/a husband of 46 years) has had knee injections for the past 3 weeks for his osteoarthritis. We will, hopefully, resume our walks together in the near future.

@w8goal4lifew8goal4life I hope the injections work. The first one I had did, for a couple of months. The second one, only for a couple of weeks :-( The good news is that I ended up having knee replacement surgery and everything has been super since then. Not sure if that is on your 'boyfriend's' horizon or not, but if so, I hope he will discover what I did .... the worst part about the replacement was that I waited way too long before I got it done. Wish I had done it several years earlier; it would have saved me a lot of pain and discomfort.6

@BonnieHosk85 and @jan110144 Thank you for your words of wisdom on OA. DH has been getting injections (3 consecutive weeks in a row) every 6 months for the last couple of years. Sometimes it seems to help, other times not so much. Knee replacement has been discussed and is a likely consideration for him at some point down the road.2

Didn’t beat my time from last week’s 5K, but came in at my second fastest speed (all of one second faster than the previous second place, but I’ll take it!) It rained the whole time, and there were more hills than I’ve been training on, so I’m very pleased with the results.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Ran the 10K in the Kaiser Permanente Women's Fitness Festival today in Northern California. This race means a lot to me as it was my very first 5K three years ago, and my very first 10K 2 years ago. It was the race that made me realize I could do a half-marathon, and now I've signed up for my 7th half coming up in October.
