Good morning, beautiful people.
I went running last night with the club for the first time since *checks notes* October and everything hurts.1 -
Good morning BBB.
As of last night Tom was about the same. You are right Lee, they think it's diverticulitis - I spoke with doc by phone on my way home last evening and if no significant improvement when doc does rounds this morning they will do a CT with contrast.
When he is not feeling well Tom is not big on communication. I'll make sure to be there when doc does rounds.
Lee - I hope the swelling reduces in your knee. Do you need a new knee or is there another underlying cause?
Mary - I hope your DS1's back is better - that is no fun.
Lou - What happened between October and June?
Kelly - enjoy the visit - whether all projects are finished or not 😁
Steph - you guys will find the right temporary RV soon - I feel it.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
I just spoke with Tom and he is feeling better this morning. No real details given so I will know more when I get there in a couple hours. Thanks for the thoughts & prayers.2

Morning~
Thinking of Tom and glad to hear he's feeling better today!
How cool you hosted an x/c student! That would have been cool to do. Our local HS has a ton of x/c students.
I can see on the horizon - WEEKEND!
Mary - you lost me. Is your plan to buy a second lake lot or buy a newer RV for your existing lot or both? I got confused.
WITW is Authenticity? Must be smitten with new GD.
Here's to a great day!0 -
Continued Ts & Ps for Tom!
DS1 said yesterday on the scale of pain 0-10 his 10 was now a 9. Yikes. Pinched nerve in the neck and muscle spasms.
Hope your knee is better, Lee
Im going to plant some annuals this afternoon later for an elderly lady friend my Mom used to work with for years at the same hospital. We reconnected via my Wisc Garden Club fb group, and she recently had back surgery etc. and just can't get her annuals planted herself in the borders of her gardens. I offered to do it for her - as a kind gesture, my Mom will be with me in thought. But its kinda part of my thoughts for my side hustle idea with the Planters, Pots, Patios and Piers LLC. (not real name too long) I've been also thinking about the elderly and how I could help, and maybe make some $ by hiring myself out, planting containers for them to easy manage on their porch, run errands, or give rides, etc. sort like a rent a daughter etc. I don't want to clean houses though. Been there did that for four years to pay for my new car back in 2005 when I was single w/kids. Need to do something I enjoy! Cleaning ain't it!
You guys think I might be onto something?
Have a great day, be well, be safe everyone!

Good mornimng BBB crew.
D-Day. My Sunday school teacher, when I was in junior high, went ashore with the first wave. When I was a kid, all our dads were WWII vets.
Thinking positive thoughts for pain-free necks and guts.
Woke up with a stiff neck, myself. Can't turn my head to either side. I hate that.
Today is DS' 31st birthday. We'll head to his house for small celebration, this evening.0 -
You have a keen talent, Mary! GO FOR IT! Do you travel? My rose bushes are looking putrid.
Be careful - "rent a daughter" on some sites might elicit unwanted calls.....0 -
Good Morning,
Prayers for Tom and DS1
Mary find someone who enjoys cleaning to hire or partner with. We have a couple of folks in neighborhood that change light bulbs, do small repairs, pickup and deliver meals, carry folks to doctors and/or just sit with someone. Another lady sets up when someone is having company, putting out towels, preparing snacks, making sure everything is laid out before family arrives. As the population ages there is so much need.
Lee, hope knee allows you to get out and enjoy day off
Tis TGIF eve for you working stiffs
Enjoy the Day,

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Glad to hear Tom is feeling better. Hopefully MDS1 will turn the corner soon.
- Lee, how is life at Ft. Rucker?
- We had an exchange student (Thomas) at one time from Germany. He was in a technical school and came to intern at the company my wife worked at. When he finished up his GF joined him and they traveled for a couple of weeks in the US. It's a good experience.
- Mary, there is a market for elder care but it's not for everyone. I couldn't do it. I like the Flower Gardener idea better. I guess it depends on if you are doing it for fun or real income.
- My Dad was on an Army hospital ship off the coast of France during WWII. Rarely talked about it.
- Rain is headed our way and we need it. Hopefully we won't get inundated like our poor friends in the midwest.

Evening BBB.
Busy day. Made three house calls plus dog training today. BTG has done a great job tuning Babe up. Hopefully she'll run as well for me on Sunday as she did today.
Always remember the sacrifice of the men on Normandy beaches.
Knee has a chunk of something floating around in it. It feels fine until the chunk floats into the wrong spot. It may be time for surgical intervention.
So sorry about DS#1 being in so much pain. Glad Tom is responding.
So glad to have Babe back.
BBB OP ;-)

Good evening
I didn’t sleep a wink last night. I just took an Advil PM.
Girls night was fun.
Still trying to get stuff done. I’m behind.
Glad Tom is a little better. Hoping Lee and Marys boy get relief soon!!
