Good Morning BBB.
Up and out so I can be with Tom before his surgery this morning. They will roll him out about 7am - surgery not until 9am or later.

We took Jim's kayaks out for the first time this weekend, and had a really nice time. Let's see ... what else can I update you on? He had his 50th birthday, Dd27 and the grands moved out, we've been getting the basement back in order (it was pretty messy from them), only 2 more Sundays of church before we go on summer break, Jim's been playing drums with us, I got a new keyboard, 2 weeks until my annual leader trip - this year we'll be in Texas with around 20 of us. I think that's most of it.

Good morning.
Continuing to hold Tom in prayer this morning.
It's called iFly, Lisa. This one is in Rosemont. Just a giant wind tunnel to imitate the skydiving experience.
As a bonus, they weigh you at check in so they know how much power to use on the fan. Since I led a meeting on Saturday and couldn't weigh, I used that number. Then went to the Brazilian steak house and ate that number in meat. 😂0 -

Computer has been down, e-mail still down AT&T says give them 48 hours
Went over to Dennis's hood to renew drivers license, after getting up all requirements (birth certificate, passport, original social security card, utility bill showing name and address) states drivers services system is down; welcome to wait but may not be up today.

I have to do the same thing here in VA - but dreading that long day! There has to be a simpler way!0 -
Skip, normally we can renew our drivers license on-line but the Dept. of Homeland Security gifted us with the Real ID act which means you must show up in person with all kinds of proof of who you are. Ever hear of the DHS Skip? Really fun for the woman who has been married multiple teams with multiple name changes. I guess it's the price we pay for being safe.
The IT folks at the Dept. of Drivers Services used to be my customer. Sounds like a good day to be retired.
Got Tom on my mind this morning. Hoping all is going well.1 -
