It is impossible to hit snooze and sleep a bit later when the dogs know that, upon rising, they'll get to go out and then have breakfast. The moment that alarm goes off, they're frantic with happy anticipation. Lily was literally running all over the bed, all over both Jim and me, licking our faces. "No" was not convincing her otherwise.
Happy Wednesday, my friends!0 -
Morning~
Long night for me too.
Hopeful for progress update on Sir Tom!

Mornin' BBB.
Ha! Lisa, especially now the birds are chirping at 4:30 am, tough to keep the dogs quiet past 5 am. Sometimes I go back to bed.
Praying that Tom's surgery was quick and complete and he gets home soon.

Good morning
Praying for Tom.
Lisa, how is the baby? Mom and Dad doing ok ?
No such thing as sleeping in here either.
Been crazy busy doing household projects plus consistently picking up after 2 kids and a messy gf. It’s exhausting and maddening.
Helping DH paint later today.
I’ll cbl0 -
Good morning
Thinking about Tom and praying all is good.
Restless night for me as well. Eye dr. Appt yesterday on my mind., and he's still persistent on decompression surgery. No thanks. Sigh
Rain showers hopefully today to water gardens a bit. Then I don't have to.
Have a good day everyone!

Good morning.
Up early because someone, who says she doesn't snore, does indeed snore.1 -
Good Morning BBB.
Tom's surgery was long - about 2.5 hours and nearly the 2 hours in recovery - seems to be good results - he in not out of the woods - the healing process is fraught with danger and not guaranteed. Another week in hospital then who knows. I am grateful for his surgeon and I am grateful for the thought and prayers sent .
Lisa - what a joyous way to wake up.
Mary - sorry about the eye issues. crap.
Kelly - take a breath and go do something for yourself - maybe a pedicure???
Lou - it must have been you imagination.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
(((Raine, Tom)))) thanks for the update.
He's a stong guy, he's got this!
T's and Ps continue.... with love0 -
Good Morning,
Keeping Tom in prayer,
I'm one that never allowed dogs on bed, until Joanne got her cpac she could wake the dead.
Kelly, sounds as you need to put foot down or get Gary to make boys clean house.
Mary i'm one that will postpone medical procedures as long as possible; but too much pressure in eye can be bad.
Dave, where you hiking today?
Cooler here today, expecting showers
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am0 -
Yea no snoozer here myself today. Definitely holding Tom in my thoughts and prayers. Yikes Mary I am with ya on putting any surgery stuff off. We had a brief intense T-storm here last Saturday but not much. 97°F in PDX and more the same today after a high of just 62° a few days ago. Mowed lawn early yesterday and early ride to yoga and REI.
Stay safe all. Off for early walk before it is "hot as lava" as my son would say.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Raine, you know we are all still praying for a swift and complete recovery for Tom.
Mary, do you have glaucoma? I was diagnosed 35 years ago, had two lazer procedures before conventional surgeries. No drugs needed for the last 20 years. Just check in with the eye doc every six months. Eye surgeries are quick and recovery is fast - and the state of the art has really advanced in the last couple decades.
Today is our 32nd anniversary. We had a nice dinner out, last night and we're driving to the mountains for the day, today.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- Happy anniversary Dave and Rita.
- Glad to hear Tom's surgery went well. Our Emmaus reunion small group included him in our prayers yesterday about the time his surgery was about to start. Let's hope the recovery goes as well.
- Mary, I lived with an eye problem for years and finally had surgery. I wished I would have done it years before. Same with DW and her knees.
- Kelly, I agree with Sam. It is time to give the 'kids' a chore list.
- Dogs definitely have their internal clock and there is nothing like meal time. Poor Emma is deaf now so those external triggers aren't as much a problem.
- Bob, our weather is reversed from yours. We had high 90s two weeks ago but 69° is predicted high for today.

Happy Anniversary, SGM Dave and Miss Rita!
DW and I celebrate 23 on Saturday. Trying out a new steakhouse with one of the best wine selections in the region. Looking forward.0
