@jan110144 Today, west of the Chicago, the day started hot and humid, but I was up early and rode Charlie, the quarter horse in the outdoor arena. We had to walk around standing water between the barn and the arena. Last week, we had a duck in the arena. Tonight, I just got home from my sister's home where they had a picnic that had t move indoors due to this evening's deluge.2

Reading all these posts is super motivating this morning, thank you!
@lsmith2077 avoiding snacking temptations is hard! I love snacks, and cant only eat 3 meals a day and feel satisfied..... so, I plan my snacks for the day in each morning and stick to them. However I'm very lucky in this regard that I live alone so can keep the flat free of temptations without depriving anyone else!
You tracked your snacks and got the exercise in, which are great positives to take from today
Have a great Wednesday all!6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
Yes, Yes, and yes
I don't know. I think my exercise is kind of a fuzzy yes. Had Buddy over for the day. He is a lot of work but is work exercise? He weighs 70 pounds now and there is a lot of picking him up or standing him up from the floor. I have to be careful. Coordinate carefully with my wife.
70 pounds, that is trivial to a body builder. But I am not really a body builder.
Buddy likes to sit in an inflated wading pool and play with the hose. I putz around in the yard or work on my bike keeping one eye on him. It is kind of soothing way of passing time. I think I will put a pic of him from last summer in my profile.7 -

We finally had some rain last night. After all my complaining last month, we actually were getting dry and needed it. Also looks like we will be almost 10 degrees cooler today!3 -

Exercise Tracked In MFP: Yes, Active but not the treadmill today
Calories and Water Tracked In MFP: Yes
Within Daily Calorie Range: Yes
Extra:
Daily Water Goal: 3 out of 7 water-bottles
Pass Day Count: 1
Keep moving forward and keep making progress….I gotta keep on keeping on : )
As for today's discussion, I am recently struggling with the habit of tracking. However, I think tracking is going to be a lifelong necessary habit I need to do. Which is this month's goal, track daily and develop that habit again.
I am thankful for this UAC group and thanks for all that everyone does to make it a successful group @RangerRickL

Just a suggestion... using mfp you can plan/track for the week. Setup each day and then on the actual day tweak it if necessary. I prelog in the am and then I know what I'm having today. I leave wiggle room if I add a snack etc. or if I don't at the end of the day it's more in the deficit column. Side note this method helps with food shopping too8 -

Yes x 3!
Exercise was golfing nine holes in terrific weather.
NSV was choosing to eat a healthful dinner at home even though it was late, even though my husband promised to cook and didn't, even though he invited me out for pub grub and drink and I opted instead to make a big salad with grilled chicken.9
