Skip, I meant that the elbow patch helps prevent wear and tear on the jacket elbow from doing one arm curls at the bar, LOL. Not interfere with getting the glass to the mouth. Gas station wine, really? Run into Bernie Sanders yet?
Is Jack going to do a photo op at ground breaking? Is he taking good care of Tom?
Foggy and wet today. More rain coming. The garden is jonesing for some sun.

Headed home late this afternoon. Drop boss off at airport at 3 or so then 5 hour drive home. Going to take tomorrow afternoon off.

Tis TGIF Eve,
DMIL made me come to conclusion this morning it is bad when one's life is so good they have to look for things to complain about; she has spent over 30 minutes complaining that one dollar bill feels different from another; I could care less as long as they are acceptable currency. She keeps complaining that she can't hear, has not worn hearing aid in over a week says she has not had a chance to clean it; if she would stay out of my and DW's business she would have plenty of time. Each day she has need to go through our mail and has even gone through our desk; she really got upset because I have left a note in middle of monthly bills "this is none of your business and you should not be in our office", claims she was not snooping but one of our neighbors told me that we had a house note and monthly amount. It's no one's business that I have a loan at 2.91% and guarantee of 4% in retirement fixed fund.
Hope Tom is better today than yesterday and improving each day,
Dave, did you get 20 miles in yesterday?
Mary, is this a lake weekend?
Lee, know Babe will be glad to get home today,
Another hot, humid day with showers
Storm yesterday beat garden down good, need to retie tomatoes and beans but so tangled afraid will break up vines.

Good morning BBB crew.
Great hike in the Olympic Mountains, yesterday, climbing 3,000 feet up a spectacular valley to a high pass at 6,000 feet. I handled the 15.4 miles just fine. I feel as though I am starting to get into hiking shape. Only down side was that I tripped on the way down and did a face plant in the middle of the trail. A few bruises and scrapes today, including a good one right on the hip for which I have been undergoing physical therapy. We'll see how the therapist handles that this morning.

Hmmmm my Subaru wouldn't run that well on gas station wine I think.
Yup Olympics are akin to Olympus home of the Gods for sure. Luv me back country.Sorry about your trip-up Dave. Yup sun starts coming up later by around Saturday but sunset doesn't get earlier until around the 2nd of July. Interesting the way the world turns.

Gotta love wearing 30 pounds of hot regalia on a campus with no Air Conditioning when the humidity is in the 80% range. Ugh!

If I got hurt and couldn't hike out, I'd sit tight and wait for help. I always bring xomething warm to put on and some extra food, as well as the rest of my "10 essentials." And someone always knows where I am hiking and when I will return. That said, I have been at this for almost 60 years. I like my chances.2
