In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"
Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!
Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!
Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!
You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!
1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Hello All
We have been quiet for some time. Not sure if anyone is interested in continuing the discussion. I will commit to logging in at least 5 times each week and supporting anyone who posts. I commit to the next four weeks and then judge if there is interest in keeping this going.
I also think that it will be better for me to do 3 mini goals or less each week. Even though I will be working on other things, it will be easier to concentrate on fewer goals. Not sure if this makes sense for others.

My goals this week

I'm doing well, and I hope you are too!
I'm definitely interested in continuing. I finally finished up my master's, and it's been a little busy since then because I've had family come into town, and with Independence Day this week, park hours have been extended.
So the goals that I want to work on now are my blog, my audition song, and logging what I'm going to eat - BEFORE I actually eat it! I'm doing great with exercise - I've been lifting weights with the high school sports teams that are working out over the summer in the school weight room. And I'm getting PLENTY of walking around! I've decided not to do any running until the OtterBoxes arrive for our new phones.
So, my goals:
1. Check in daily.
2. Practice song and write a blog post on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
3. Prelog food as much as I can.
4. Post an update Friday.0 -

Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for the encouragement. Yesterday was a long day outside but overall it went really well. Today I'm going to rest, log what I eat, pick up some groceries and take them to the food pantry, do a bit of reading, write a blog post, visit with family, and practice my audition piece.0

AUGH! It didn't post!
Ah well. I'm done with the crazy long days at the park, and very grateful that they're over. My feet ache pretty much all the time right now, but that should fade, hopefully over the next week or so as I'm not on them as much.
I did NOT practice my song yesterday, and I worked on a blog post but didn't finish it. I did go for a nice long walk, and we visited my in-laws. And I napped. WHEW. It's been exhausting. I'm definitely glad the holiday is done!1 -

I had a wonderful WW meeting Saturday. My normal weigh in is Friday. But my studio is by my work office so I decided to make it up by going on a Saturday. Glad I did!

Hi everyone! Man, summer makes it challenging to stick to any kind of schedule :P
Goals for this week:
1. Continue reading Delusions of Gender.
2. Plan meals at the start of the day and LOG THEM.
3. Practice audition song 4x.
4. Lift with sports teams.

Good morning friends! Delusions of Gender has been really interesting so far. I'm still struggling with logging - I just don't think about it! ugh. I've been practicing my audition song and I think I'm not going to start at the beginning, because the intro on the sheet music is different enough from the recording I'm familiar with that it's throwing me off. I think I'm going to start it right before it moves into the first verse.
Got back to lifting this week and it's been challenging. I haven't written anything more on my blog, but I'm going to see if one of my posts isn't close enough to done that I can finish it off and publish it before heading in to work today.

Hi clicketykeys- any progress is good progress. You are doing a reset in a few areas and it is a challenge. But you can do this. Just keep moving forward. Your plan for the audition song makes sense. Good luck with the blog.

I have not done much with my goals this week. I have been a bit of a slug. I need to start moving. Let’s see what the weekend brings.

It is great to see Everyone has checked in! My week has been good and bad. Weight gain bad. Stressed at work with going on a new system! But not all is lost. I still went to WW yesterday . I did not weigh in, I will weigh in next Thursday. The class was awesome!! Good points. I always learn something. Another positive is I signed up for the health club at my job for $50. Not sure what I am going to do yet but I have to start some where. On Wednesday I had a maid come over to do some cleaning and they did an excellent job. Now the challenge is to do more cleaning and I have scheduled another cleaning for August 3rd. So I am finally getting around to my de-cluttering project and it feels good. So even though I didn't lose weight this week, I feel I am making progress to get to that point. We can do this, one day at a time!!

Molly- happy to see you here. Good for you going to WW and for joining health club at work. You will figure that out. Sounds like great progress with your decluttering and cleaning. I know that you will continue to stick with it. So you have had success this week and can build on that. Have a good weekend.
So my week has gone okay. I said yesterday that I didn’t make progress on my goals but realized that was not accurate. I have been mindful of my eating this week. I have limited snacks and sweets so that is good.
