In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.

2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.

3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

    1. Continue reading Delusions of Gender. Update Goodreads. (working on this now, actually)
    2. Plan meals at the start of the day and LOG THEM. (uhoh... well, maybe I can make some plans for tomorrow??)
    3. Practice audition song 4x. (also uhoh!)
    4. Lift with sports teams. (did this!)
    5. Write 2 blog posts. (not yet)
    6. Update Friday AM. New goals Sunday.

    @clicketykeys -- great hearing from you too!

    Not too much progress. Maintained weight today. Ate too much yesterday and not enough movement. I did do some more cleaning. So happy about that, just have to make myself do a little each day. I only did about 10 min but that is better than nothing. The jump start with the maids was a great start for me!

    Hi Molly- I think it is great that you are cleaning. It will make a whole lot of difference in how you feel. As for the rest of your goals, keep going. You are worth it.

    2. Plan meals at the start of the day and LOG THEM. Download MFP onto the new phone to make this easier!
    3. Audition! Call about dr. appointments in order to
    4. Lift at school; treadmill running. Aim for 1 mile without walking.
    5. Write 2 blog posts.
    6. Update Friday AM. New goals Sunday.

    Clicketykeys- you did well with your goals but left room for improvement. That’s what having goals is to work towards something. Progress not perfection.

    I am wondering if we want to have the discussion thread be for two weeks but our goals for a week at a time until or if we get more people involved. If you don’t agree we can start a new thread each week.

    So here are my goals

    2. Steps 6,000 4 days
    3. Steps 7,000 at least 2 days
    4. Exercise 3 days

    Just to clarify my goals. The 6,000 steps is a minimum and 7,000 would be at least an extra 1,000 steps on 2 days. Yesterday I had more than 8,000

    4. Lift at school; treadmill running. Aim for 1 mile without walking. Not yet. It's been nice in the mornings; I'll try again tomorrow.
    5. Write 2 blog posts. Not even close.
    6. Update Friday AM. New goals Sunday. Half done ;)

    I did NOT get the part I wanted. It really, really, really sucks.

    @clicketykeys - So sorry about the part. Just keep auditioning! Great job on your goals and pre-planning. I need to start doing that too.

    My week has been super busy at work and no time to walk on breaks because I have not had time to take a break. Have to make myself take my breaks next week

    I am still working on de-cluttering which is going great which is why I am not online as much. Brought some new things at Costco to replace worn out stuff at home. Today I am going to take 30 minutes to do some cleaning. And it is helping me feel better about self and coming home to an organized, fresh smelling apartment is awesome! Now the challenge is to keep it going because I still have a long way to go but I am getting there. The place is shaping up!
    I am going to have all the rooms painted, get new mattresses, etc.

    This project helps keep my mind off food. My goal to have my place ready my November to have guests over like I use to. I love entertaining and this will be SOOO good for me. I know ultimately, I must do this in order to lose and keep my weight off for good. So, I am ready to get to these core issues with help from God, my therapist, WW and MFP. I am going to do whatever it takes.

    Have a great week ladies! I will see you on the new thread! I will be chatting less because I have another maid coming over Saturday so I want to do as much as I can before he arrives. So when I pop in, I will be a lady of few words this week :smile:

    Molly- so happy for you getting to cleaning and organizing. So happy things are shaping up. Smart to schedule housecleaning professional both for the help and the deadlines it creates.
