Starting a new week and beginning to feel that I am back to having a grip on my hood habits again. It is amazingly easy to fall off the wagon (beware of long vacations ) and equally challenging to get vmback on track sometimes. The good thing is that I know exactly what to do and have this great MFP group to help me get focused and do it.
I am starting to think that longterm "maintenance" for me is likely to be more of a bumpy road than I anticipated 🤔

this! I have increased my daily cals but the difficult part is when I have eaten all the healthy choices and my cals are low, it's hard to know what to add. Obviously, at the end of the day I could merely add a hot fudge sundae and still be ok in cals but that seems counterintuitive. Maintenance seems difficult.

Pass. Didn't eat well. The littleuns stopped me getting enough sleep and that's a trigger for me for over eating and seeking out high sugar food. Tomorrow is a fresh start.
Following on from RodeoRick's recent post, today we supported a local charity's fundraiser - a sanctuary for rescued horses and ponies that had been abandoned or rescued from neglect. They also do lots of fantastic work with disabled and vulnerable children and adults getting them involved with grooming and caring. Anyway, thought I'd share a pic from today of how some of them are now thriving...

My wife, Rose and her friend, Anne, are vacationing in the state of Vermont. They have a cabin right on the shore of Lake Champlain. It's only 15 miles south of the Canadian border. They took their passports so the Canadian UACers should be on the lookout for those two gals.
Meanwhile, here at the farm, I'm doing fine. A nice weekend of riding the bucking horse but without any bucking..that the best way.

No riding today. I did very active riding two days in a row. I'm a bit fatigued. Tomorrow, if the weather is good, I'll be back in the saddle again.
