I always like hearing stories where people stop and help strangers. It’s such a small effort and such a big impact. Thank you for being a genuinely good human being.4 -

I've had a good week, but this weekend could prove challenging - a wedding, dinner out w/DH, and family dinner. All fun things that don't have be about food. My goal is to enjoy the event/company and eat smart.
My NSV - with some help from the class instructor I finally got a line dance I've been struggling with.6 -

Will do another late night dog walk when the sun goes down tonight. I'm pre-calling it an on track day
NSV!! Two people at work noticed some progress in my weight loss this week. It felt great for ppl I see everyday to notice , sometimes it's hard to see the changes yourself. I'm finally seeing actual scale victories too, for the first time in MONTHS!10 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under - wasn't very hungry today. It's been so hot here (was like 109 today) that I just wasn't hungry, but I am bloated. Could barely get my ring off my finger this evening.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
LOVE the NSV threads! Everyone here is so inspirational.
My most recent NSV is being able to run 14 miles, which is my farthest distance to date, and not dying. LOL I'll be tackling it again soon, and hopefully eventually hitting 15 miles. I'm trying to prove to myself that full marathon training next year is a definite possibility.12 -

I got through half of August using only one Pass day. I'm pretty sure I have a few coming up, so it's good to have a little bit of breathing room.8 -
Came back to read the rest of the NSVs 👀
So uplifting!3 -
We don't walk around with our scale-reading displayed on our chests for people to notice. It's the way we have physically changed that people notice. NSV = I get comments about my changes even on a day that the scale may have inches up a bit.11

Yes x 3!
Exercise was the trusty gym treadmill.
I have a couple of NSVs:
Since the first of the year my labs show that I've reduced my A1C from 6.3 to 5.8 - which although is a "number" it's not a scale number - but you know, one of those things that reminds me that I am doing the work and sometimes the results aren't scale related. The high end of normal A1C is 5.7 for reference.
So, like @RangerRickL, last week I suffered from an injury (left shoulder triceps). Rather than use this as an excuse to throw out exercise for the week, the month, forever (!) I assessed what I could do. No golf or swimming, but heck, the legs are fine and do not interfere with my sling! So, I walked. Up and down our mountain road for 20 minutes at a stretch because the meds have a driving restriction, so no gym. This week I am back at work, off of the meds, and going to the gym to use the treadmill as I continue to rest the injury and seeing improvements as time goes by.11 -
