For the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.

2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.

3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! :)

    New goals:

    1. Read Trekonomics. Update Goodreads. This one is due Saturday, so I need to keep at it.
    2. Plan meals THE DAY BEFORE after school and LOG THEM. Stick to the log.
    3. Honors night Tuesday. Grammar test Thursday.
    4. Lift at school; morning running. Aim for 1 mile without walking.
    5. Write blog posts Tuesday and Thursday. Call 5 parents each plan period. Grade 5 narratives every day. Finish Saturday.
    6. Rehearsal Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri. Yoga Saturday. Visit with Z Sunday and Monday.
    7. Update Friday AM. New goals Sunday.

I'm so tired I could cry. Or barf. Maybe both. I have a friend who wants us to go to Disney World for the Halloween party and I just ... I love Disney. But that will be right after Mamma Mia closes and I'm so tired. And I've been hedging and trying to soften a no, but it's not getting through and she's very excited about going. And like... I don't know how to be more direct with a no without making her feel bad.

Clicketykeys- I feel your “pain”. That is difficult. I would just be direct and point out all of the reasons it isn’t a good idea. Take care of yourself. I have 2 questions you could ask yourself- is there another time you could go or is there any way you would feel comfortable going for the Halloween party. You have a lot on your plate and only you can put yourself first. Good luck.

We're running the play, so I'm sitting out a lot at rehearsal. Fortunately I brought Trekonomics, so I got a lot of reading done when I'm waiting around. I may take some grading tonight, actually. There's wifi, so I can review my students' digital assignments.

I didn't run yesterday. I had students staying after to re-do a test, sooo I kind of used that as an excuse (that and being tired) to skive out on it. But despite having students testing after school today, I still lifted! Soooo not nothing. Gonna try to finish my library book tonight cuz it's due at the library... actually if I can remember I'll put it in the book drop on the way back from rehearsal.

    Hello Warriors! Happy Monday!

I am a credit analyst so end of months are crazy for me and last week not so hot at all but back on track this week. I did make it to my WW meeting this week and I was up but I am ok with it. Last week was stressful and we ordered out a lot at work :(
