    Good Morning BBB.
    Happy September!! WOW
Look like Dorian will stay along the east coast. The news media is making everyone crazy.
Kelly - this is my first hurricane as a resident. It is weird to experience a disaster and not be on call with IL-TF1 or FLTF. Normally Jack and I would be packed and ready to go in.
Mary - I agree with Sam, Lou and Lee about a real estate career.
Lisa - I bet the pictures came out great - can't wait to see them.
Sam - your schedule is full - remember that as much as you give they will take 😁
Dennis - I have been using 1Password and iCloud in tandem for years.
Steph - What is the countdown number? I'm excited to see your family photos.
David - please share pics of the bowl.
    Do good out there everyone.

Raine, STAY SAFE! Will Jack be doing any work there if they need disaster relief?
Lee, decreasing your calories sounds like a smart plan. Or, you could increase your activity, or best yet, do both. Maybe you could find some simple swaps for some things you're eating that are a bit lower but still provide volume? Like a leaner meat, or a lighter sauce, or something like that?
Dave, I agree with Raine ... please share some pics!
Mary, I love crap fairs. HA HA! I like them mostly for the creative inspiration. Often I buy candles and melts at them, too.
Dennis, you are such a good friend to pick up your neighbor!
How did shopping go, Steph? That age can be rough ... I remember with my girls. My oldest was (and still is) easy to buy for. The younger 2, not so much. They're picky, and I can't ever seem to pin down their current style.

It should be a slow day. Actually, yesterday was, too ... Jim worked most of it, so I was home bored. I cleaned windows (proof that I was REALLY bored!). My amp keeps cutting out, so we might go check out some Labor Day sales on a new one.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Made it out to the Olympic Mountains for a short hike, with Rita, yesterday. The calf was pretty tight, at times, but uis getting much better all ready.

Love college football; losing the big game of the week - not so much. Sigh.

I'll take a photo of the latest creation after the sun comes up.

Church, this morning, then nothing planned. Looks like a lazy day.

    Good morning BBB

Brrrrr. Chilly this morning again. Sign of early winter? Tempted to put heat on!

Old pier coming out of water today. Hired 2 local guys to do it finally. The deputy fire chief and his buddy, lake police officer. I'd say it's a good crew!

Stay Safe Raine! Did u move inland to friends house??

Ds1 got lots of kudos running opening football game at UNT. Said it was weird though not being in the Shoe yesterday
    ( Ohio states stadium ).

Maybe we'll grill out tonite or go out?

    Enjoy your Sunday BBB

    Stay safe

    Good Morning,
Raine, looks as you may have dodged Dorian; know you, Tom and Jack are always welcome to hide out here if you need to.
I've never been able to pick out clothes that satisfied either of my kids,
Occasionally one can run across unique gifts at little crap fairs
Dave, glad leg is getting better
Steph, time is getting short, really admire you and Ron
Skip, you and Mr. Cooper enjoying quite time while ladies of house are gone?
Meeting went much better yesterday, seems TM had a talk with coach where there will be less meetings missed and now when ever a sub is needed must be approved by TM.
Kelly, you just have no sense of adventure, my DMIL can toss and turn anyone's home upside down and create turmoil wherever she is.
Lou, when do you start in Austin?
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam

OK, here is the latest bowl. It is 8 inches across, 5 inches deep. Natural edge willow. The chunk of wood was the trunk/root ball of a curly willow a friend removed from her yard. A bark inclusion almost divided the piece in half, so the biggest challenge was keeping this thing from flying apart in the middle. Really pretty grain, though.

    Hi, Gang~

SGM - WOW! You are such a talented craftsman!

DMIL/DW got home last night. Mr. Cooper has snapped out of depression.

Today is Nat's baseball (Dennis - I picked a good year to switch allegiance) and Darlington racing tonight.... May go to watering hole to catch the race.....

All my chores complete (cars washed; gassed). Need to be on a conf call later for work - T&Ps for those in BVI

    Afternoon BBB.

Eat less, exercise more. Yes indeed. Eating less is the hardest part for me. I like food, dadgummit. Might have had a mcgriddle sandwich for breakfast. Those things are delicious. Could have easily eaten a second one.

Mary, am sure you would make a wonderful real estate agent, but do you want to work that hard? I have a DSIL that sells in NYC, she works almost 24/7 in the Spring from March to end of June.

Drove two hours to get to my favorite spot on Long Island Sound (technically it's Fisher's Island sound) on CT and RI border last night, fished from midnight to 3:30 am on the outgoing tide. Caught a few striped bass that were too short to take home for the table. Hard work in fast current and no moon so it was pitch black. Very proud of my wee boat, she performed very well. Got home exhausted. Took an hour nap and then had some things to do...exhausted again so time for another quick nap.

Beautiful wood bowl, Dave. Glad the calf is better.

Glad its going to be a miss, Raine. Me dad is still living in Jacksonville so they may see some heavy rain and wind.

    BBB OP ;-)

    Good afternoon BBB Friends.
    • Let's hope everyone stays safe. We should be off of Dorian's path both coastal Georgia could get hammered.
    • Beautiful bowl Dave. My DFIL likes to work with odd wood too.
    • So Steph, you are a single digit midget work-wise. Enjoy your last week.
    • Dave, are you a Ducks fan? Yeh, that would have been a tough loss.
    • Skip, Braves / Nats should be a fun battle the rest of the year.

Dennis, I am an actual Duck: University of Oregon, Class of 1974. I was there when Dan Fouts was the quarterback and Ahmad Rashad (Bobby Moore, then) was in the backfield. As a longtime Duck, I am used to disappointment.
