Two more pass days. Received some bad news and crawled in a hole the past few days. I didn't eat that terribly, but didn't have energy to track anything. It's okay. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.10

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a dog walk and more walking minus the dog after that, plus jogged across the parking lot at work, but not for very long (it felt great to run for two minutes). I can walk up to 2.7 mph but after that my knee starts to ache. I'm not used to injuries. Had enough!

@Slimpossible007 @Hollis100 and @snowshoe072 you guys are inspiring too, hanging on despite injury, illness and pain.
I’ve had some bad days myself here and there but today was definitely a good one. I did spin class with a friend and then she wanted to do a quick circuit of weight machines with me. She was amazed at how much weight I could use. I responded in what I hope was a humble manner, but inside I was beaming.
Oh, and a new low on the scales this morning. Lower than I’ve been since I joined MFP in 2013. It might be 10 years since I’ve been this low. Feels good.7 -

I did disappear for a couple of days but I'm back, perhaps little lighter, because I am now without an appendix! Of course I had a day and a half of feeling miserable previous to this, but the brief hospital stay and the operation were a testament to the miracles of modern medicine. I now have several pass days and won't be in the inner circle, but don't count me out! I'm still in the challenge. So, today makes 3 days of not logging & exercising. One bright spot is I feel certain I was under the calories!8

OMG! I had written such a funny and inspiring post, and it's just vanished into thin air! Seriously, it was the funniest thing you could have ever read. In forever. And now it's gone, never to be seen again!
Anyway, I am currently sitting on 4 pass days used, so no podium for me.
This weekend we had my grandma's memorial service and we also attended a wedding. And in Romania, both these types of events mean food, and lots of it! A wedding is a 5-course meal + dessert + alcohol, and it usually ends in the wee hours of the morning. No way to track calories, also no point, they were very obviously over.
And for the memorial service, my mom made cakes. Yes, plural. Enough said.
I did exercise, I always do - but you can't outwork a bad diet.
I didn't bother posting in time, because I knew I was out of the race. But I am still here, and right back on track ever since Monday morning. I have been consistently under calories and I'm working out, as per usual.
Monday - 1 hour leg day
Tuesday - 1 hour aerobic
Wednesday - 1 hour upper body pull day
And today is push day.
I feel very, very proud of myself and what I have achieved. I don't always feel that way, I'm usually unhappy about something or other - losing weight too slowly, comparing myself to others in the gym and coming up short etc. And since I was kinda grumpy yesterday morning (all that weekend sugar overload catching up with me), my trainer actually took a pic and compared it to the one he took when I started.
4 months ago I went into the gym wearing an arm sling, I had been living with such excruciating pains in my shoulder that I couldn't even lift my hand to scratch my nose. I had done 2 runs of physio + medication, with almost no results whatsoever.
And now....3 -
I've put the pic in a different post, so that it doesn't disappear again.
Anyway, I'm proud of the hard work I've put in, happy that I'm seeing results and I am not giving in. The only was is up!

Sorry guys but I HAVE to take another PASS day!! It was a day from HELL! Sooooo busy that I could hardly think straight! I'm sure I was ok for calories but I had NO time to log it nor did I have time or energy to squeeze in even 20 minutes of exercise!8
