    @RangerRickL yeah, kayaking is pretty special, simultaneously exhilarating and peaceful. This is Grover’s Mill pond near Princeton, NJ. Notable for being the setting for HG Wells’ “War of the Worlds.” Great place for an easy paddle and viewing lots of wildlife. Had an Osprey dive right in front of me today-an amazing site.

    Exercise - yes - 2000 yards. Didn't feel like it at first but once I got in the pool I felt great! Then a midday walk to the beach, cold but beautiful.
    Calories - yes - it was a close one! Local pumpkin bread and some late night snacks nearly did me in.
