    Mornin' BBB.

    Magnificent Lou.

Sam, does DMIL have a boyfriend at the senior center?

Speaking of Sam, Dave have you considered doing some yoga as PT for your hip? Yoga strengthens the core muscles and supporting tissues of the joints and is low impact.

Kelly sounds psyched for panhandling in a bikini.

Wee dog is doing well post op.

Starting to see leaves turn here. Chilly at night.

How's PT going with elbow, Skip?

    BBB OP ;-)

Apparently I didn't mention we plan do do slow travel after we try island life. Ron really really wants to go to Chaing Mai for a few months. We will see what really happens.

No luck on the jazz concert. Either we were at the wrong place or no show this week. We had a nice walk through the town anyway.

So far trying to not treat this like vacation. Mostly by not having alcohol at the house (yet) and not eating out as we would on vacation. I'm working on a calendar so we don't just laze away each day. I have been trying to get back to yoga and meditation buy between Ron and the vacuum robot yesterday was a fail.

I really need to learn to go to bed earlier. But I left my Kindle at dads so my nightly reading is limited which ia how I like to turn mind off. Not sure if the library will loan me anything or not or might just have to buy a book or two.

    Good Morning BBB

We love following your new journey Steph! I bet Dave could do some amazing hikes in the mountains of Chaing Mai!

Prayers for DD28 Lisa, she definitely needs to reach out to her ob/gyn and force a face to face, that or find a new one. You are a wonderful supporter and advocate for her. It is a sad reality that when a person needs and wants help its a hassle at times to move it forward. Im sorry she's going thru this

Have a great beach trip Kelly!

Nice scenery Lou! Hows the inlaw family bonding going?!

Lee, thanks for the Maddie info, she's getting a appt booked today

Lets see what our MKE Brewers are going to do this weekend with the Pirates at home. Im forgoing FFF (forced family fun) day Sat at the ball park with everyone to stay back and babysit 3mo old baby Ari, so my DNephew and DNeice can go to the game with everyone! I really am not that into watching baseball live, shhhh don't tell Skip! And to get some Ari time is priceless!!!

You all have a wonderful day.

    Im so glad its Friday!!!

    Good morning BBB crew.

Enjoying the photos, Lou. Keep 'em coming.

Moving to new surroundings as you retire adds another layer of complexity to the transition, Steph. You'll find a balance, soon, I am sure.

Never done yoga, Lee, but I did two months of physical therapy on the hip, with minimal benefits.

I finally took some photos from my last hike, out of the camera. This is the North Fork of the Skokomish River, in Olympic National Park.

    Good mornng BBB Friends.
    • Good day at the ole ballpark yesterday. Chartered bus dropping us off at the main gate, light lunch, great ballgame and dinner before getting back on the bus. Oh, and the Braves won.
    • You are bringing back old memories Lou. I spent two weeks in Madrid many, many years ago and a day in Barcelona this time last year.
    • Can't say I've ever been to Chaing Mai, or anywhere close.
    • Enjoy your time with Ari Mary. The prognosticators are saying the Brew Crew have a good chance of pulling off a wild card slot.
    • I've never done Yoga but I am a follower of Yogi.
    • Off for a motorbike ride with a neighbor. We are celebrating our 80° weather.
    • Skip, do you live next to Howard Wolowitz?

    Good Morning,
Dave, yoga practice may help hip; if your insurance provides a Silver Sneakers card there would be no cost at a local gym that provides yoga classes. Once you get use to it, it is something you and Rita could do together. I've got some that have postponed surgeries doing yoga, don't know if that is best but they saw pain is more manageable. If you do try it let leader know about hip issue and they can give you poses that may help. Great photos
Steph, its great to know someone who has guts to take off in world, hope you are keeping a journal that maybe you could publish and help pay for more adventures.
Beautiful photos Lou, keep them coming
DMIL is talking to her old boyfriend about five times daily now. Both in 90's she gets upset with me asking how her phone sex is going; but when ever he calls she runs downstairs to talk with him or out on porch.
Kelly, hope you have a great time on beach
Lee, off tomorrow since you had to work Thursday? girls want to play,
    Lisa, hope DD is better
    Have a great weekend,
    Sam

Do I need to put parental controls on my DMILs phone?

I forget where I read (heard) - years ago - that the some of the highest rates of STDs are among nursing home population. Apparently there is quite a swinger atmosphere and sharing..... Who knew.
