Our tropical depression was uneventful. A bit of rain off and in in the evening and overnight. I hear it was worse to the east
Watched New Amsterdam last night. So not used to my new time zone. Prime time only lasts until 10 in central time. But up with the roosters. I'm guessing a siesta is in my future today0 -

I'm loving the daily travel photos.
After waiting all day and making multiple phone calls to check on status, and being told repeatedly that everything was in order, I got a call from a Lowe's manager after 6 p.m., telling me that our new refrigerator was never put on the truck in the morning. I plugged the old fridge back in, drove over to Lowe's and canceled the order. Sad to say I lost my temper, a bit. I do pretty well and controlling that, but they pushed me a little over the line.0 -

Dave, I too get very upset when told something and folks don't care enough to follow through; I can understand folks make errors but it really gets to me when they will not take ownership and try to make things right. They do not value ones time, I would expect at least a 10% refund or credit.

When I got back from yoga class this morning a little after eleven she was sitting at breakfast table still in pajamas guzzling coffee and had just begun to eat piece of cake, seems she just got up at eleven. Plumbing has been messed up since Friday, she has not taken a bath on main floor which is telling me she has not bathed since sometime last week. Reckon I'm gonna have to get on to her again, why is it that older folks hate to bathe?

Today was a little shopping. I’m not much of a car ride person but a large trunk has its advantages. Ha. Loaded up. DH always reminds me when we travel that we’re flying. Not this time.
