Seriously - I have also decided to change my weigh-in day, I think Thursdays will be better for a couple reasons - figured I'd make a special note of it at the beginning of the November discussion.

    Kinda tired... Smooches! Maria

I have to laugh at everyone wanting to change weigh-in days, what in the world possessed me to pick Mondays?! I've read Wednesdays are a good weigh-in day.

    Wednesday check-in
    Calories under
    Exercise bike, elliptical, weights
    Water over

@AustinRuadhain thanks for posting the links on trigger foods, I'm going to come back and read them!

Trigger food chosen is sugar, especially chocolate. I've done great today but have dreamt of food every night since I decided no sugar, and once was a pumpkin but last night I dreamt I ate most of a large pizza! WTH? I've been eating more calories, enough with food dreams! I'm at my parent's right now and there's candy dishes with trail mix and jelly beans, not tempted by jelly beans but chocolate in trail mix! I'll have popcorn instead.

    5 for 90
    1. Gym 3xs a week. Went today.
    2. Exercise 30 minutes a day. Did gym and home workouts.
    3. Decluttering house. Have a full can at the curb, have bags of clothes to donate.
    4. Less social media but check in here. Yes
    5. I'm totally blanking on my 5th! Probably didn't do it if I can't recall! Haha, it's avoid trigger foods! Doing my best!

Calories in the green zone yesterday!

    1. Time - I had some time to myself to watch an episode of Comedians Giving Lectures before getting on with organising everything for today.
    2. Exercise - 10620 steps. o:)
    3. hydration, 14/14 but i must drink earlier! Chugging a glass of squash before bedtime just means endless wees before I can sleep!
    4. Trigger food - nay.
    5. Yays - picked up some cherry almond tea.

    Weigh in week:  Week 4
    Weigh in day: Wednesday
    Previous Weight 204.4
    Todays Weight: 204.0

After this month I'm going to move my weigh-in day to Friday. I was down almost two pounds earlier this week, but with my workouts that I do on Monday and Tuesday's my muscles don't have time to drop the water weight. At least that is my way of thinking. :/

I'm also giving up candy (Halloween candy in my office and my dark chocolate at home) for the No Trigger Food Challenge this week. I do have a wedding to attend on Saturday and might have a tiny sliver of cake, which is a food that I rarely eat and just adore. :)

@TeresaW1020 I want to change my weigh in day too! I am always lowest on Wednesdays. Mondays are horrible weigh in days for me. How do we do this?

@leonadixon @TeresaW1020 This has been updated to Wednesday. Thanks!

@TeresaW1020 Another perspective on which day to weigh in...

My weigh in day is Monday and my weight is lowest midweek as well but I look at that midweek dip as what's possible but not permanent (yet). Sometime it gives me the extra motivation I need to work hard for the rest of the week and not overindulge over the weekend

    Wednesday Check-in
    Calories: under
    Water: over
    Exercise: 46 min platform stepping

    5 for 90 for Wednesday
    1. Make some time for myself—YES meditation
    2. Exercise 30 minutes a day—YES (it so helps that I am reporting in)
    3. Hydrate-YES I went over
    4. Year End Focus Martial Arts - NO crazy busy getting ready for a big event on Saturday and realized it was at emergency stage, so chose to skip; I DID make sure to get in my steps
    5. Thankful—YES 💓 for my mom friends, for Slimpossibles, and for my Eat to Live peeps
Oh, and thankful for willpower. 🍬 I was at Walmart last night and decided NOT to buy Halloween candy early so I don't have to have it in the house. All those little fun size packages look so innocent, not even a bite. But if I start on them, I can eat a lot of them. So I am grateful today for my decision yesterday to keep temptation away. Life is a little easier today because there's no candy in the house.

🎃 And that has me think about the fact that there did not used to be a Pumpkin Spice Season. I do like that spicing, but all those limited-season sweet treats are both fun and not helpful to me and my health goals. Anyone else noticing this? (I try to keep an eye on the ways that marketing is trying to get the best of me.)

    Steps for 10/23 - 10,705

    💓💓💓
@Jactop - I love your perspective on your weigh-in day, the part about what's possible and not yet permanent!
Another perspective -- I just weigh in once a week -- same day and time, so as to ignore the fluctuations as much as possible.
Different actions and reasons for different people/brains!
🔥🚶🏿 Your steps are impressive -- as usual for you, but still impressive! 🔥🚶🏿

@mrmcgrath - Yay to the exercise. Hugs to sugar being way off. Is it all the Halloween candy/fall treats?

    @renaegry - 🎈 Great weigh-in! 🎈 Congratulations!

@Wishusdonna - Your update today reminded me that you are a comic! Comedians Giving Lecvtures? That's a thing? Sounds hilarious. And the problem generated by getting hydration done just before bedtime made me laugh in a been-there way!

    @bethanie0825 -- Woohoo! Great steps!! 🔥🚶🏿

@Katmary71 - So glad the links look fun! As far as food dreams, I think I might dream of food if I were staying someplace with CANDY DISHES. Yikes! And that totally makes me flash back. My parents are not particularly candy people, except for the occasional homemade. But I had grandparents on one side with candy dishes, and remember eating lots when I visited!
Anyway, hang in there on the No Sugar. I am doing no sugar, too. I do have a small, measured helping of goji berries with my morning smoothie, and notice that those are tasty/triggering enough that I am careful not to eat more than I plan to. (And the I could have a few more thought pops into mind when I weight them out. *sigh* Thanks for sharing, unhelpful brain.)

@its_cleo - 🎈 You are doing so well on your 5 for 90!
I am sorry to hear about your uncle, and glad for you that you'll get to go with your dad to visit him. 👐

    @leonadixon - Great steps!! 🔥🚶🏿😊

Exercise: I did some retail exercising today! B)

I came home from work and told hubby that I was worried about this wedding we are attending on Saturday because it's supposed to be cold and rainy and I don't have a coat to go with my dress. So, off we went. First to the consignment shop, which didn't have anything to go with my dress but did have an awesome London Fog black coat for only $35 and it was an XL and fit perfectly!! Then we went to TJ Maxx and I found the perfect black cape shawl thing that will work great! And it was a Large!! Hubby told me that I am NOT to even walk in the plus-sized section. Major NSV!! B)

I hear ya! I am struggling with that as well but I’m going to keep plugging away. Eventually it will all fall into place.

@Kres567 glad you are doing ok. I’m doing alright. Just very overwhelmed at the moment but taking it a day at a time.

@Jactop congrats on the step challenge! I thought I had you on that Fitbit race only to wake up to find two of you passed me! Lol

And while we’re chatting about weigh in days I thought I would provide my two cents. 😁 I choose Thursday. I give myself permission to indulge on the weekends which includes alcohol and salty foods, both of which make me retain fluid to the tune of about 4-5 pounds! Also if I really indulge too much and find myself in a serious negative point value (weight watchers) then it forces me to move more, eat better and drink more water during the week to earn those points back. It sounds crazy but I lost 25 pounds last fall doing it that way.

    1. Avoid trigger foods. Talk about surrounded, first my parents house then Costco. I survived the bakery area, samples, and didn't get my usual frozen yogurt.
    2. Exercise 30 minutes a day. Done
    3. Declutter house. Didn't do anything today.
    4. Social media and checking in- good on checking in, can do better at social media part.
    5. Go to gym 3xs a week- gym day is tomorrow

    Goals for the weekend:
    1. Drink LOTS of water. I don’t think I’ve had more than 40oz a day in the last three weeks
    2. Elliptical workouts both days
    3. Charge my Fitbit and start tracking again
