Hi!
Im currently 235lb and 15 weeks pregnant. a few month before pregnancy i got my weight down to 202 but then fell off the wagon about jan time. By the time i conceived in may i was already back up to 230. Ive put on 5lb in these 15 weeks which is more than id like as my doc only wants me to gain about 15-20 overall so im trying to maintain and control what i gain. Ideal id like to gain max 15lb but week 40.
Im meeting a pregnancy dietician next week via referral from my consultant but MS is kicking my butt and im eating what i can when i can which always seems to be unhealthy foods at the minute. I hope logging what i eat everyday will make me more aware of the junk im eating. Ive set my cal goal to maintenance but im not counting cals really im just trying to eat as much as i need but make more conscious choices when choosing what i put in my mouth. Im also trying to walk more but my PGP has started already arghh!
Just a quick introduction xx

Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy! I delivered my son two weeks ago, and I was also obese when I became pregnant with him. He is my second son, and with my first I gained over sixty pounds because I just ate anything and everything. This time I tried to remain conscious of what I was eating. I did not eat great every single day, and I had to eat often because I would feel extremely sick if I did not. I gained thirty five pounds this time. Just log everything so that you are aware of what you are eating. Drink lots and lots of water. That was my biggest problem throughout my pregnancies. It's great that you are meeting with a dietician also. Do not stress yourself out over food. Enjoy being pregnant It is a wonderful experience~0

Congrats! I started my 2nd pregnancy way more over weight that I hoped. I was 205 & I'm only 4'11". So far I've managed to keep a pretty good hold on maintaining. As of last week I was up 6 pounds at 26 weeks. Logging my food has helped so much. When I was just making better choices it was not enough. Plus I feel that once I have the baby it will be easier for me to lose because I'm alreadyin the mindset of logging. :-) . I had lost over 100lbs in the past & kept it off for years. It's still completely shocking that I havent weighed this much in 10 yrs & am starting over. But I think I am finally focused & serious about getting control. :-). Now if only I could get more exercise in my day! Definitely love prenatal yoga! Welcome!0
