What have you learnt?

Someone was asking motivational quotes and I haven't got any so thought about something I did earlier this year.
I asked myself if I could go back 10 years and give younger me advice from my new experiences what would it be? Then I asked myself am I following that advice now because if I am not I really am a dumb@$$ and I actually learnt nothing.
The younger you are the less years you go back though I think it is a good exercise for the mind and potentially the body.

10 years ago I had 0 issues, my weight gain is a by product of giving birth to my youngest child 7 years ago and my immune system malfunctioning. At present I can do my best to maintain and make healthier choices but no real action can be taken until I’m medically stable for a few months at least1

So it turns out I am not following all of my own advice that I would give a younger me if I had the chance;
- Get fit you fat ~@$*"$%; so this I am on, important to keep it up
- Better work/life balance; failing as I always have
- More social activities; joined a football team, need to start dance lessons with my gorgeous wife
- Manage money better; yay and nay; paid a chunk of debt off, spending a bit mad with two hols for our 25th.
- Communicate with my family more; on it, still more to do.
- Get the house repairs done and keep it tidy; busted!
I need to recommit to this plan if anything is going to improve in the long term0
