Skip, Jim got the 11 Pro ...he loves it, too! I want the camera. My 7+ doesn't seem so awesome anymore.
Wow, Lee! Your fishing trip sounds challenging! And exciting! 6 foot waves? I'd be exhausted, too!
Mary, what are you doing for the 4 day weekend? Anything fun?
Have fun with that insurance stuff, Dennis .... ugh. If Jim dies before me, I'll need to hire a guy to handle all that stuff for me. I hate that kind of chore.
I'm glad all that yuckiness held off until you were home from your vacation, Lou. It sucks now, but it would have sucked more then.

We had a great weekend with Anabelle! The party was amazing, as always. These people truly go all out. It felt similar to going to a "fun night" at a school, with games all over and prizes for all of them, plus 2 huge bounce houses to play in, food, and both horses and ponies for rides in the parking lot. I was originally slated to run the cake walk, but it didn't work out logistically, so I ended up off the hook. Instead, I got to walk Anabelle around to everything, which was much more fun. Jim guarded one of the bounce houses to be sure no one got too rough or got hurt. Our costumes were fun, too. ;)

Today I'm getting things ready for a friend's visit. She's coming tomorrow afternoon, and staying overnight. I can't wait! I love her! She's a WW Coach from Cleveland.

    Good morning.

Thank you for the laugh Lisa. Love the costumes.

Up and out the house early. Have to be in town by 7:30 but have a list of things to do before that.

Love the weather!!! 40 this morning. The country air is wonderful. Yelling at my moms dog and it echos. Ha ha.

    Praying for Rita.

    Mary, is the camper winterized?

Lee, that’s my kind of fishing. I would’ve called it a day with water coming over the bow too.

    I’ll cbl.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Always love the photos. Thanks Lisa. It's great to SEE what I read about.

Rita's appointment went well. She is scheduled for surgery the end of the month, to fuse four of her cervical vertebrae. The CT scans clearly showed how her spinal cord is being affected by her degrading disks. She also has some symptoms she wasn't even aware of. My roll will be to maintain her morale and ease the fears she will feel between now and then.

    Mornin' BBB.

Ever ride one of those electric bulls at a Country and Western bar? That was what it was like while trying to fish, LOL. There weren't too many other boats out there in that snot. I'll remember that trip for a long time. Guess that was just the beginning of the system that is creating 12 ft waves out there now according to the NOAA.

Kelly, we would have some fun fishing the salt.

Due to the same system, its raining here all week. Got fall lawn seeding done yesterday before heading into work. Good timing for seeding. Should get decent growth before the hard frost.

Raine, are you gonna do a make up beach day for Jack?

Dang Lou. My sister has asthma. She lives in Central Florida and it is a constant battle because of the humidity and associated air quality. She will soon be moving near the beach and hopefully her asthma will improve. Hope Austin will be better for you.

Sad about the end of glamping season, Mary.

    Prayers for Rita

Nice Lisa. Ya make a great Mary Bo Peep.
•Dave: we all are holding the best Ts and Ps for Rita and her surgery.
•We had a nice spell for lawn seeding here too but I didn't need to. I did cut it a level shorter and will move the setting back up a notch.
•Dennis hang in there w WW weigh in. I barely made WW goal weight myself.

    Good Morning BBB

Hope Rita does really well and gets through this with flying colors! They'll have her up on her feet in no time!

    Feel better Lou and Cecila

Lisa, you guys are a hoot and such a wonderful couple, parents, grandparents, friends, etc. etc.

Raine, when is move in slated for?! Jack stepping up to protector/cuddler while Tom is gone, Im sure!

I hope to spend more time fishing next season! We are still looking for that used end of season pontoon boat deal, not finding much worth the $ folks are asking. Though maybe the budget is too low LOL!!

My ds1 is 34yrs. old today, how did that happen?! Can't wait to see him in a couple of weeks in TX to celebrate, I miss him!

I best get to it, the paperwork on my desk is calling.... whattttt I can't hear it ??? ;)

Lisa it's so great you can spend so much time with Annabelle.

It's forecasted to snow I'm Nebraska this week. Haha we don't live there anymore.

Today went to the beach but the waves were so rough we just lounged for a bit without getting in. This afternoon we are researching diy wills. Our current on is from Nebraska and leaves everything to Ron's dad and my mom ( I know right 2.5 years past due) and we need to change that up.

Moving custodial accounts was easier than. Planned but still took 2 phone calls and 2 hours.

    Good Afternoon,
DMIL wanted to go to Silver Sneakers this morning, so I took her and did elliptical while she was in Silver Sneakers. Smelled something as we left for gym, when we came back I was sure I smelled urine. Confronted her, had not washed clothes in two weeks; seems when she takes clothes off she throws them on chair, desk, chest or bed; when getting dressed easier to pull from a pile than closet. What I can't understand is if one has an accident in clothes why put them where one will wear them before washing them; and spraying them with Lysol does not do it. This explains why windows were open downstairs with air running full force, "something smelled" yea I wonder what?
Feeling better but still eating very little.
Finally cooler but still no rain.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam
