Hello from Costa Rica.
I'm sitting on the porch of the family home in Turrialba. It's 7:30 pm on Sunday, November 24. I have a laptop on my lap, which I guess is where it got its name. On the other hand, I have never tried to use a laptop on my lap. I Since that is a first for me, I'm going to share another first. We will definitely continue the UAC, but I am not going to promote the December UAC on the MFP Challenge board. The reason is two-fold. It's very difficult for me to manage that promotion while being on vacation outside of the USA. The second reason is that December is a month in which the UAC posts drop to a annual low due to the Christmas and New Years holidays. Then, in January, we attract a short-term burst of sign-ups.
So, for all of you who are loyal team members and friends, here is the December UAC link

3 x’s yes! We did a tabata styled strength class this morning and I hung in there for my second full spin class. If spin is teaching me one thing it’s that I can push myself further then I thought. I don’t love it but I love how I feel after. Good on calories, eating at my absolute max and losing.
@rangerrickl good choice to enjoy your vacation and not worry about promoting December. We will get through the holidays together and I’m sure we’ll see many new faces in January.5 -

Exercise: Yes, just about 20 minutes, by getting off the tram a few stops earlier. Gruelling day examining: we had to accommodate extra candidates, as one of our colleagues is stuck in her house because of flooding, cannot even get to the station. Anyway, there are no trains running for the same reason. I have to go that way to Nice on Friday, so I hope the problems will be solved by then...
Calories: Yes, stayed under. I'd prepared a lunchbox so I didn't have to eat the calorific food in the cafeteria. Even the salad was roasted Camembert salad ... Didn't go out with some of my colleagues, eating and drinking. I was tired and had a calorie counted meal ready at home.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
Another day's examining tomorrow. We'll have to start early to fit in the remainder of Christina's candidates. I've prepared another lunchbox and I hope I'll be able to have a little walk at lunchtime. The weather here is actually very nice: sunshine and up to 17° or 18° in the afternoon ...4 -

I took my laptop, found a pullover near some wild grass and boulders, worked for an hour in the car, and then got out to do a circuit around a large hill and back -- did that several times.

Signing off early today cuz I caught, as we call it in our house, "the crud" and I really couldn't do much today no matter how much I tried. I'd just get weak/feverish and ever since I posted in last night's thread my stomach started getting sick and it's been that way all day. However I managed to deep clean our fridge & do laundry and tomorrow it's my goal no matter what to do mopping so on Wednesday I can focus solely on Thanksgiving prep. Gonna try to eat some pizza I treated my family with, without upsetting my stomach any more lmao. Night yall!!5 -
@angelswatercolor So sorry you've come down with the creeping crud (what my family always called it). Maybe ask somebody else to mop that floor so you can rest tomorrow? Hope you feel better soon.2

Lol I checked in on the wrong date yesterday. No worries, today is a 3x’s yes with an hour of strength training. Everything logged and 11 calories to spare.3

Good day! I took my good friend to his oncology appointment this morning, then out to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. He was starving! LOL! A man came in and sat alone behind us. I knew he was a veteran because he had a ball cap with his service written on it. I secretly asked his server for his check and took our checks up to the cashier and paid for them and asked for his receipt. I wrote, "Thank you for your service" on his receipt and gave it to his server to give to him in place of his bill. Anyway, I swore her to secrecy and it was so fun to see him get up with his bill, not even look at it, and then head to the cashier to find out that it had been paid. I saw him walk back to his server and just thought he was tipping her, which I had already done. As we got up to leave a while later, she came over to me and gave me a big hug and said that was from him. Felt so incredibly good to do that without him knowing. I hope it made his day as it did mine!9 -

Allowed myself a slightly higher calorie budget to compensate for the blood the vampires took. Realised it was the first time since July 2018 that I had donated due to various reasons, but glad I got my bit in for the season. 92 donations done now.
Exercise was also on the low intensity side due to blood volume being low. Rehab and kids class.
Did manage to get a sun worshipper session in with my house mate (tanning in the garden while reading) and had a fun evening with some ladies at church learning to make some Cuban food and pumpkin pie.
Still on track for winners circle this month.3 -

Exercise was an office walk and office gym at lunch. I MADE myself do some easy-peasy lower body strength work as we have a nice gym across the parking lot. Tomorrow I will do upper body. Rinse and repeat.
