    Good Morning BBB.
    People are arriving today for the Widows Sons Grand Gathering - it is the national rally. It is actually happening a half mile from us. Funny. Tom will be set up there doing pinstriping. I have a commitment today but otherwise I'll be helping him through Sunday.
    Kelly - congrats on the loss.
    Lou - sounds like you are crushing the transition.
    Sam - I'm with you on getting back to doing legs.

    Feeling much better today. Last night we went to open mic night at a local bookstore. It was exactly as I expected it to be but it was nice to get out and meet some new people.

    Today is hot already at 6:30 so I expect we will go to the beach later to cool off.

    Hot sounds great to me, Steph. Glad you're feeling better.

    Didn't catch any of the game last night, but I'll be pulling for the Nats in your honor, Skip.

    Rita got through her pre-op appointments, yesterday. e went out to lunch, afterwards, then I took her to a casino to chill for a couple of hours. I'm doing all I can to keep her mind off the surgery.

    Took an Uber driver apartment stalking last night. Wasn't particularly impressed with what I saw. We'll try again tonight.

    Nice Dave. Always good to take mind off of things for DW Rita. I too will pull for the Nats as I don't have a dog in the world Series fight anyway. Amazing run for the Nats this year.
    upper 30s here this morning and much colder than my annual trek to our dinosaur (and more ) museum in California.
    Chilly wetland walk early today coming up.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Morning visit with the Urologist this morning. All good so far but I won't get my test score for a few days.
    • I saw most of the game last night but might have slept thru the last two innings. Always good to win the 1st game.
    • Do you speak Spanish Steph? Although I imagine most in Puerto Rico speak English.
    • Our weather has definitely changed. Low in the 40s last night and a high of 71° expected today.
    • Nice potluck dinner at church last night.
    • My best to Rita. It will all be good.

    We speak a little Spanish. We are studying for at least an hour a day. Most in the service industry speak both but most of our neighbors only speak Spanish.

    There is one old lady on our walk that I have told many times I don't speak Spanish. She keeps talking the entire time we are near her house. We call her 'mom' because this is exactly what Ron's mom would do.

    Looking forward to tonight, the Milwaukee Film Festival is here and me and a gf are doing dinner first, then attending a films private screening, title to be announced at curtain call.

    Raine, didn't you and Tom ride / escort, etc. with the Widows/sons group in IL?

    Good Evening,
    Been busy, tomorrow going to South Georgia for funeral hoping to get back in time for yoga class,
    DW busy making sure house is spotless Saturday we are hosting Sunday School class for ribs and fixings.
    DMIL is working on doing anything she can to irritate DW.
    Lou, when I started at county I would skip down hall; many would come out of office and stare
    Prayers for Rita, understand her anxiousness; agree keep her busy
    Steph, you and Ron are living dream millions wish they were disciplined enough too be able to live.
