Dragging tired today - but SOOOOOO worth it. One more night of baseball and we potentially become World Champions!
Took me Dad to airport. I think I wore him out. He stayed in last night and went to bed early.

Good morning BBB Friends.
- I too am joining in with prayers for Rita today for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
- It truly is an Away Team advantage. Fortunately the Nats have one more Away game.
- Of course we have a "Texan" in our group now so we need to be sensitive.
- Low tonight is expected to be 69° and tomorrow night 36°. Yikes!
- Emma continues to improve. Them DVMs work wonders.

Well wishes for Rita and Dave today.
Cloudy and 85 today. I of course want to hang laundry so it will probably rain.
We have one more week in this apartment then are moving to the east. The next house has a pool. So looking forward to that.
I'm not into baseball but it's always good to see the WS go to maximum games.0 -

Saw a private Universal Pictures movie screening with SO last night for "Last Christmas", to come out in theaters Nov. 8. Good acting and Its a good story, hit home a bit in a way for me too. I'll leave at that. Go.see.it.

Just got the email for our "hot pass" in the NASCAR pits on Sunday!!! Basically a hot pass is you stand right next to the team in rheir pit and watch the race from the wall there. etc. And best get out of the way when the car comes into the pits. My Tom is very excited! I'm more excited to be spending the weekend with ds1 - no matter what we're doing!

Glad to see ya up and around Skip. Too bad it took a ridiculous amount of time to confirm the base running error. I had to look up rules, sub-rules, and sub-rules to the sub-rules to find the language. Clearly if the runner is out of the baseline (in this case inside the baseline on the edge of the grass toward the pitcher) beyond the halfway point to first base he could interfere with line of sight for the throw and catch even if coming back in bounds at the base. Sounds like it isn't usually called except when even more egregious but what the hey. A bigger travesty was the wait for the decision.
And yes for the Texas/Houston fans in our group I hope that tonight's game is a good one for all. I will likely root for the underdog whoever that might be. Recording it as I won't sit through the whole game.

Hope Rita is through surgery and now on mend, will continue to keep her and Dave as caretaker on daily prayer list.
I have no stake in WS game 7, but will pull for Nats for Skips sake, don't believe Lou has established permanent roots yet; how weird does he need to be to fit in Austin?
Have to be in Atlanta by 7 in morning then back in Madison by 10 for dental cleaning
Hope frost does not get my tomatoes, okra or butterbeans Friday morning,
