Mornin' BBB.
Lost power yesterday a little after 4 pm from high winds laying a huge pine tree down on power line to our little farm road. I figured it was gonna be a while, so I hooked up our portable generator (8500 watt) to the house and ran it all night. Power line just got fixed but we are still generating because DW is in the shower. I have to shut off power manually and unhook generator and then power back up manually. Way back when we had hook up installed, decided not to spend big bucks for automatic system. So I have to haul the portable out of storage when we need it. It even has its own little tent to protect it from rain and snow.
Saw a photo of Rita hanging with DGK and candy on FB. She was smiling. Awesome she is home and feeling well.
Miss Babe already. She is in good hands.
No trick or treaters here. Had a bag of candy just in case because we do have kids in the near vicinity now, but we haven't had a trick or treater for years or maybe never since we have live here (2002).

Good morning.
It snowed yesterday in Indiana
We live 3 blocks from the major schools on a cul de sac and usually get hundreds of goblins. We got maybe 20 last night. The last few got loads of candy. Very little left here.
Glad Rita is healing up nicely!!
Steph I’m jealous of you and Raine’s weather. Enjoy it.
No plans for the weekend other than making some soup and cleaning up guest room. It’s a hot mess.

Powerful tornado winds and rain here last night. About 30 kids. Suspect more tonight.
DW and I doing photo's at the bridge and pond today with photog.
Not sure what we are doing tonight.

Rita isn’t home yet. The photo with our grandson was taken here in the hospital. DDIL brought out grandson to visit yesterday. He came in costume as an astronaut.

Congrats again to the Nats Skip! Quite the series. I do feel a bit sorry for the home fans on both teams who didn't get to see wins on their home turf. Glad that Rita is going home today. My DW always does better at home and out of the hospitals. Lots of cold around the country for now it seems. Worldwide overall it seems it was the warmest October on record but gosh some cold stuff here lately. I think they are expecting maybe a biggish snowstorm here in the PDX region this winter. Stay warm and do good all!0

Morning BBB
Walk and chores done for the morning and now we are headed to a Halloween costume surf contest. Should be interesting. We didn't see too many kids last night but enjoyed a beer and people watching.
And now the Christmas season begins here. Saw 2 houses already decked out for Christmas in our walk and one with full on lights last night. We have heard that they are pretty hard core here clear through 3 kings day.0 -

22 kids 1st period, on break now, 36 kids on role for 3rd period and 28 on role for yoga class
they could not find anyone else gullible enough to put up with that many kids alone.
Felt very cold overnight, DW closed windows and when she got up this morning turned heat on.
Glad Rita is coming home today,
Mary, have a GREAT weekend with DS at races.
Time rolls back this weekend for those who have been on daylight savings time, don't see where I've saved anything due to time difference.

Welcome to Dallas! 48F and sunny, better than 5inches of snow at home.
75 kids at garage for treats last night usually at least 200.
DS1 texted me just now "glad you're here". Awe so nice! His people arrived!!!
