    Mornin' BBB.

So glad that it is just one more day, Raine. How is your vision?

Good last day training before BTG takes her to the Nationals in Pretty Prairie, KS. The other dog he is taking has a really good chance of placing, whereas Babe is a real long shot.

Poor Tess hurt her paw yesterday afternoon ferreting out a rooster in some real nasty cover. I tried to call her off but she wasn't having it. She was successful, but lost her protective booties in the process. Ugh, may have to end her hunting season. Heartbreaking because she loves it so.

    Thank you, Steph.

DS#1 called us last night on his way to Atlanta from Rucker to participate in a Rally Cross event in his little souped up riceburner (Ford Fiesta). We'll see him day after Turkey Day.

Today am going to put me wee boat away for winter, amongst other winter prep stuff.

    BBB OP ;-)

Poor pup she looks so sad. Guess it must’ve been a bad cut?

Raine. Get better!!! Can you see better?

I got up around 6. Entire first floor of the house is lickable clean. Ha ha. Heck it’s not even 8 am. I’m on it.

No church today. The service is only 20 min with a list to go out and purchase food for our local food pantry. I can do that.

Still cold here. Got my car washed yesterday then ended up at the baby shower on a gravel lane. Ugh.

Lunch today with my favorite people.

Steph, would you please share your mailing address with me?

Any more drama in the dc area?

    Lou, any new housing leads?

How’s bob, Dennis and Lisa? Mary?

I’m sure Sam will have some good stories when mil returns. So with that.
    I’ll cbl.

    Good morning BBB!

We're off to church to celebrate my great niece Arianna's baptism. My ds2 is her God Father and that makes my heart so happy! He was best man for her parents wedding also.

I didn't have to clean up after the beautiful horses at our villages Christmas fest. I was in charge of loading and unloading the wagons. They had horse diapers on anyway. Lol

I was blessed to assist and live with our dgf in his 90's for 4yrs to keep him in his own home. No drama no shinnagins. He was a lovely, kind, wonderful man. I learned to garden and so much more from him. He fought in WW1 on the Austrian side. Then came to America here in 1920ish and made a living making orthopedic custom shoes and shoe repair, in his own business for 50+ yrs. So a specialty cobbler, I guess. Did very well for himself.

One more day Raine, you got this!

Hope Tess heals up, poor girl!

    Have a good day everyone!

    Poor Tess.

Look like a fun day Mary. Hope it wasn't too cold.

No plans today. It has been rainy in the afternoons the last couple of days but hoping for sun today as we plan to hang by the pool all day.

Got 3 avacados and a bread fruit from a nice man on our walk. :)

DC Drama is over - but the elbow shot I took to the ribs is a painful reminder :-).

I'm big on facts/truths. Friends of ours have ceased our friendship due to mistruths and don't have a desire to hear all the facts - we let it go - agreeing to wave! Well, they wave half the time. So I made sure, when given chance on Friday night to remind them of why I won't wave to them saying something like - when you are through with your tantrum and desire a cordial dialogue - you know where to find us - but oh, we tried that, and you said nothing that made sense then so why would we expect sensibility now. Enjoy your evening.

Anyway. Pettiness. I felt better but definitely didn't take the high road.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Taking Rita to church, this morning. She will be surrounded as soon as she walks through the door. She is very popular. It's amazing how much people like you when you greet them with a warm smile and show you truly care about them. Two weeks after we joined this church, everyone knew her name. She's just that kind of person.

    Ah, Tess, get better soon.

I have never seen a bread fruit, much less eaten one. A hole in my gastromic experience.

    Good afternoon BBB friends.
    • Looks like Mary and Kelly are both horsing around.
    • Tess, I feel your pain.
    • Keep your head down Raine, at least for one more day.
    • I'm guessing Rita is really enjoying church today.
    • I'm watching the Falcons do something unusual, winning.

It's fine to horse around just don't be a horses putoot
DMIL is back. The other night DSonIL had a meeting and DD was preparing for DGS 4th birthday, she needed a couple of things from grocery store and felt she could leave DS with her grandmother. DMIL decided that DGS needed to change into pjs and got into an argument with a 4 y.o.; DMIL called our DSisterIL who is not really related. Two nieces live closer by. DSisterIL had to calm DGS down and put him to bed, ask DSisterIL to promise and not let DD know what happened. DSisterIL had already called DD and texted DSonIL. Needless to say I believe 4 y.o. can be more rational than DMIL but am not going to go there.
Glad Rita is able to get out and be surrounded by loving and caring folks, life is a great circle
Hang down your Raine, just one more day
Poor Tess, hope she is better soon
