@craigo3154 Thanks for your decision to look for the good even when things are not so good.12 -

Exercised?: Yes (5 km in 41 mins - hills)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Long night last night again (total 4 hours sleep, second night in a row). 24 hour again last night. Hopefully more sleep tonight.
Got my "therapy" walk in today. Will have to walk early tomorrow as forecast temperature for here is 40C (104F). Friday is expected to be 41C (106F).
Wife had a cortisone/saline injection in the shoulder today to try help free up a "frozen shoulder" (persistent problem for the last months). She goes back to the Osteo next week (before Christmas) to assess progress. Currently often in pain and has limited shoulder strength and mobility.
Personally, I have been struggling today with one of the things that happened last night. Trying to put some distance between the event and the eventual response so as not to over-react (last nights reaction to the event was to NOT react (even though I really, really, really wanted to)). Need to make sure my thinking is not distorted and I am not sleep deprived before making any changes.
@RangerRickL. and the rest of UAC. My deepest and most heartfelt thanks for your support. Words cannot express how much this is helping. Thank you all.
As posted today. Today is part of a journey, not the destination. Things WILL eventually get better (though at times I find it hard to believe - but depression does distort your thinking this way). I will continue to "press on".13 -
Back to work today which helps me with a routine. Planned and Pre logged my food and stuck to the plan.
Exercise was a 30 minute run which was going to be all along to beachfront promanade but at 7 minutes I got a call and had to rush back to work as one of the seals had got out. By the time I got the he was safely back in his pen so I finished it the run with hills near work. I also nipped out for a couple of rolls at tea time. Bonus that Jiu Jitsu is only 5 minutes from work. I had planned to get to evening open mat but had a headache and need to be at work at about 5:30 to load a seal up for release.
A good day, especially as I rolled with someone else today. So far in my return, I have only rolled with coach who is black belt and our Brown belt. Today I rolled with a good friend who is blue belt like me. Progress!6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, walking, stairs climbing. Can't go to my regular gym. So I have to find a way around me to put in this workout. Thank God for UAC. In time pass, I would not have done anything.

Yes x 3.
My Nan was always one to say, "This too shall pass."
Going back years and years I had a teacher who told me that a friend who was going through a rough patch would probably get worse before getting better. I remember that I was floored by this and wanted to thump him as things already seemed rock bottom. Turned out he was right. And when I've replayed the words in my head has been right with others on numerous occasions since. It's taught me the one day at a time approach. We're here for you Craig. And all of you UACers. xx6 -

Another good day here and still only one PASS day so far. I almost don't care if I make it because worst case scenario............I'll take four PASS days. For the month of December I'm happy with that and I haven't gained even an ounce so the accountability is working!
Exercise: Yes 35 minutes at PT for my hip including goblet squats, step-ups, banded bridges and clams..............good day!
Calories: Yes since I haven't been burning as many calories as I normally do while injured, I've been under about 300 calories every day
