Good morning.
Waiting on the cab to take me to the airport. This will be a 13 day stretch in Austin. Cecilia joins me on Saturday to help outfit the new place - and see it for the first time.1 -

Snowing here this morning. Most schools closed.
Long week ahead before the winter break. Lets hope Congress votes a budget this week!

Sounds like fun Lou. I know if I had to furnish s new places again I would do it way differently. Loved my house but I M way different now than at 29.
Windy but sunny today. Think we are going to the beach for a long walk. Probably no swimming as still Rio ride warnings.
Beginning to have a mildew problem so need to figure that out. Mostly Ron's hats and the toiletry bag. Haven't checked the suitcase yet.0 -

Mornin' BBB.
I need a sweaty italian. Cold sweats, serious aches all over, skull crushing head ache. DW had dinner for me when I got back from NY trial but I just took some tylenol and laid down. Was in subfreezing cold and heavy wind all morning. Hit me the last two hours of the 5 hour drive home. DW knows I'm not well when I pass up food.
Babe did not get a thorough bath as planned. I did give her a bath but it was wham bam thank you ma'am. She loved it though. She was just happy to be with me and have me touching her.
Slept in this am, just heading into work now. Still feeling crappy but am functional.
Kelly congrats on DS#1 getting his Masters in Law. That is a big deal.
Yes, we still have a land line. Crystal clear. Wish everyone still used land lines.

Good morning BBB crew.
I am a creature of habit. We haven't changed much of anything in the house in many years. We have friends who re-decorate every four or five years; getting new furniture, repainting walls, moving things around. Never even considwered doing that. Heck, I wear shirts I have owned for 25 years. But maybe that's how I managed to retire at 60.
DS told me, yesterday, that he is taking off to go skiing this week. The resorts are finally opening in the Cascades. Fortunately, the snow mostly stays in the mountains, where it belongs.

- Started my day by having breakfast with the ROMEOs.
- Then went to work on the slides and music for the pre-schoolers Christmas program at church.
- Welcome home Babe.
- Welcome to the new home Lou.
- A nice fall day here in the Lake Country (low 70s).
- Veterans Club Christmas dinner here in the 'hood tonight.
- Emma is sending Doc Lee get well wishes.
- How 'bout them Falcons knocking off the 49ers at the last moment.

Beach was overcast and rained on us a bit. Thankfully we were near one of two picnic shelters along this beach so ducked under for few. Met a nice couple from Jacksonville.
Seems like mildew is cofined to hats and the shirt they were on and a few toiletry bags. Luggage appears ok as does the clothes. Our next place has laundry so I might was up everything anyway just to make sure. Neither if us has too many clothes so it's 3 loads tops. We move in Saturday so won't do anything about a dehumidifier before then. Probably just need to be better about opening the closet for airflow since we shut it when the vacuum runs.0 -

•Yea Lee you could fake it as a "Sweaty Italian" consuming said beverage. Just sayin. Yeah Lee I agree that a good landline is great in clarity.
•Packers win. Seahawks win. All is good in the home front. There will be competition fro bragging rights in the Rose Bowl between my DW and her Wisconsin Badgers vs our daughter who is an Oregon Duck. I root for Wisconsin except when they play the Ducks in general.
•I hear ya Steph about the mildew. I have had items mildew overnight in the Phillippines. YIKES.
