Hey @mgmmusic !
Another perspective: “Wow, it only took my 20 days to get this going; twenty days is nothing!! Most people never do! I’m sure my Future Healthier Self will thank me❣️”

I AM proud of myself for making this far. I have shed the Christmas weight, now on to my October cruise gain. I am pretty sure that I have not had a month (since Sept 2018) that I have felt this on track & dedicated. No passes used & no cheat days in site.8 -
Got bored with the whole tracking thing ( which is not unusual for me ), and took a few days away. Back on it today.

Pass day number 4! I felt awful today after drinks yesterday, I can’t believe there was a time in my life that four drinks was the norm. I’m a two drink girl now so my over indulgence yesterday had me laying on the couch all morning today and I ate cookies for dinner. I’m bummed I missed the gym today.
Oh well tomorrow is a new day.7 -

It wasn't one of my better days food wise but since I knew we were going out to dinner I just had a small bag of Cheezits for lunch so I could come in under.

I've got the Y bag packed for tomorrow and the alarm set in the next room so I can't ignore it.6 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 2 mile treadmill run + 32 minutes of barre strength this morning.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Nope -- Pass Day #3 for me today. Hubby and I had a special treat at In-N-Out and I'm not sorry about it! LOL I won't have another Pass Day this month, so I'll still be in the Winner's Circle for sure.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!4 -

On track dayWent revisited one of my old climb stretches. Spent forty minutes climbing it, maybe 10 or so descending. It is a steeper climb than I've been on in a while. 8% overall but it has even steeper patches in it. The repeat hill I've been on since the start of winter is like 5%. I had it in mind to do two repeats on this one but I got text that said Buddy on his way over.
My wife says that if I'm not home when Little Buddy comes over he just sits and waits for me by the door. Heh. He finds something to play with regardless of where hie is sitting. I am charmed by the idea of it though; him waiting for me in the entryway.
I didn't get to exploring those nooks and crannies and rock overhangs and such. Couple of seasons ago I found bones kind of under a rock shelf and I figured a coyote ate something there. I get to thinking about it in retrospect though and I think it was a coyote that got eaten there. Heh. Think about that chain of command. What is big enough to eat a coyote? That is my question of the day.
Picture of mountain before sun peeks over it.6 -
@oldDogBiking Fantastic photo. Nature is amazing. I love your hiking tales. What's big enough to eat a coyote? A crow or a vulture and all their aunts and uncles and cousins, little by little.
