I’ve never had a chance to catch a Gamble Quail in a photo. They come out at dusk and scurry across the desert.
They are very well camouflaged.

Drove 90 minutes to have lunch with my wife's mother, then 90 minutes back again. Was nice to be with family. Lunch was at a Japanese restaurant, very nice food, but restrained from overeating.
Fortunately, less disruptive day with our daughter today, but I can feel areas where I am still struggling.15 -
Pass. Exercised and tracked but went over on calories. Gave in to a craving and had a chocolate bar. It was yummy but I end the day 100 calories over. Not terrible in the bigger picture.10

yesterday was my second pass. I was ill the day before so was so under mfp shouted at me. I guess my body wsa telling me that yesterday was time to restock. Today was very good. I had a couple of walks with my dog and spent the rest of the day moving trash, a bed and a 6 ft freezer down to my local dump. Ready for bed now :-)

Exercised?: No, I don't usually exercise on Sunday because it is my day of rest but I excercise the rest of the week. I am tracking my food and calories though. I might need to do something on Sunday.. but, I just weighed myself and I am losing a little weight at a time so, I am seeing progress.

It was a hard-working day for me. I fueled with healthy food today in the right proportions and I had no urge to use a pass.
I am fortunate and very thankful to be fitter today than I was yesterday ❤️ and I even broke my own personal record so I guess I can say that my biggest competitor is myself.
Tomorrow is another day.

There was a downpour for a bit this afternoon and lots of people canceled. So there was no one in front of us. I had to sprint to keep up but I somehow managed. So tired now but the good tired.2 -

Jan 12: 3x yes! Including PT and walking, consistent tracking and under by single digit calories. Made banana walnut muffins today to use eggs and bananas that were getting old.4

There was a group of trail runners out there. Sun was up but it was still early. I statrt when the mountain still in the shade.
But there was a woman there running in shorts. I happen to believe it was not above freezing.
I did that thing again where I feel silly about being overdressed and take off my balaclava.

I had a great "vertigo free day" and ended up walking with my girl Penny Lane, tackling some hills and extending our mileage.

Today we replaced the belt on our treadmill. It was somewhat nerve-racking, but I think we did everything right. No screws left over, which is a great sign.6 -
