Anabelle has her birthday party Saturday. It's hard to believe she's 7 now! Wow, time flies. I have a few gifts for her, although I want to get a few more. My favorite, though, is a book of monthly fun things that we'll do with her this year. Each month she gets to pick one of the "coupons" to use, and we'll set it up and do that thing that month. There are all kinds of options, like sleepovers and mall dates and cooking lessons and forest adventures. (and each option comes with added bonuses, like new clothes, manicures, and picnics) I hope she likes it as much as I do!

DBIL came for a meal yesterday to visit his DM. Left as quickly as he could.....🤬🤬🤬🤬
Visit with our friend from CO is going well. DMIL/DW and her have enjoyed running the roads and gabbing! They're having a super time.
Trying not to think about work for a few more days - but I know I am way behind.

Yesterday was the longest segment of the drive down - 9 hours. Today, I only need to make it to Fort Worth (7 hours). I'll finish with a 3-4 hour piece tomorrow.0 -

Heading out for lunch and a movie - Little Women. with my girlfriend for her birthday
I'm on vacation til next Monday and taking full advantage of time off.
Since no ESPN here anymore we decided to go out for Rose Bowl game with bff and dbf. Her IPhone 8s was frozen stuck, wouldnt power off either, in trying to fix. It with side buttons it dailed 911 a couple times. Soon a sheriff stood next to us in the bar restaurant. Crazy. They pinged her phone location and found her. Guy was nice enough about it, he couldn't reset it either...
Fun gift idea Lisa, she'll love it.
Badgers couldn't getter done, or hang onto ball.
Sunny yet cold here today. 2 or so inches of snow remain.

- Dave's Ducks pulled it off and the Dawgs were awesome. It was a late night. I've seen midnight two nights in a row.
- Isn't there a song about old San Juan? Sounds like a fun trip.
- I spent a few hours yesterday doing end of year accounting. Lou would have been proud.

Yes, I enjoyed the Rose Bowl. Very old-school kind of game, too.
I drove from Wisconsin to Central Texas, straight through, once. Took me 24 hours (back in the days of the 55 mph speed limit). I was a much younger man.
Plan to get out for a good walk, today, despite doubtful weather forecast. I vow to make 2020 better than 2019.0 -
Yup very good game. Everyone had to be at their best and make a spectacular difference on a moment or two of time. Wisconsin ran the ducks Kick-off back for a score and later a field goal. The Ducks never quit on themselves and eeked out a one point win. Yeah my DW is a Wisconsin Graduate Bucky Badger through and through growing up literally within shouting distance of Camp Randall Stadium and going to all the home games in college. She doesn't normally follow sports much unless her school is in the game. Our daughter graduated from Univ of Oregon so a fun rivalry in our daughter's house watching the game.0
