Good morning
Still raining here.
No sleeping in with dogs. Up at 5:40.
Need to clean up here and start working on taxes. Ugh
What are your weekend plans??0 -
Morning BBB.
Nope, two wet noses in your face starting at 4:30. It doesn't stop until you let them out.
Taking pups out for a little pheasant fun this morning. Lunch with hunting buddies. Dinner in with DW tonight. Tomorrow its supposed to rain all day.
I proclaim an NSV! Had my BP taken this week and it was 118/82 after a couple of cups of coffee. I used to check my BP every morning until my monitor died, but have never replaced and I haven't been on meds for 11-12 years. I was able to get off the meds once I reduced my weight from 325lb to 265lb.
We just need to get our stuff to our accountant. She is pretty good. Very OCD. Don't touch anything on her desk.
BBB OP ;-)

Morning BBB
Added in some jogging to our walk yesterday. Good news is we saved a bunch of time. Bad news everything hurts this morning.
Ron thinks he can do our taxes like usual this year. I hope we hire an accountant...so many changes. Moved residency to SD, moved to Puerto Rico, stopped working, donated most of our possessions and did a bunch of Roth conversions plus company car, sold the house etc. Seems pretty complicated for turbo tax but we will see.
So far this morning is perfect but forcasted to be windy and rainy today.0 -
Good Morning BBB.
Looks like we will not be in until later in the month due to the holiday (MLK) and flow of inspection process through city departments. We shall see how it goes. A bit of a crunch because Tom booked his flight to go up north for the 30th. Tis will be fun.
We use accountants - if for no other reason but to provide a professional buffer.
Lee - nice NSV - BP is so important.
Steph - stay safe - still lots of rumblings in PR.
Do god out there everyone.0 -
WTG, Doc! Congrats.
Cooper has been "roaming" throughout the night and often wakes us up at odd hours now.....new habit. Not sure what's up with him.
Tonight is 80's "Prom Gone Wrong" murder mystery at some friends house. Everyone is getting into costume. Should be a hoot!
Raine - ugh! The schedules. I remember those dreaded schedules. Soon it will be over.
Still laughing at Etta Mae's gift.

Wow skip! Sounds interesting. Way too early for us to do taxes just yet. Congrats on the BP Lee. Stay safe all. Off for early walk in the dark rain.0

Good morning BBB Friends.
- We are in for 4 days of rain and I've already completed season 3 of Mrs. Maisel. We may have to visit Jack Ryan.
- I am not looking forward to taxes this year. We also did some Roth Conversions and now I'll have to pay the piper. DW does our taxes. She's done them professionally so that is not an issue. She hated H.R. Block as far as a preparer but likes their software package. Go figure.
- Enjoy your prom Skip.
- Good luck with the house and closing Raine.

Dennis - you will enjoy Jack Ryan0

Hit post by mistake.
Went to WW this morning and was OVER goal. I can't even remember the last time that happened, but I figure it has to be 10 years ago.
I know why. I need to start cooking at home. I ate 3 of 21 meals last week at home. Problem is that I suck at cooking and don't have much to cook with anyway.0 -
Morning BBB
All this snow hype,, breaking news last 24hrs, and a 45 min wait in line for groceries last night and I awake to nothin. Dry ground, grass showin. I guess it's still to come. Its still south of us for now. Shrug.
I dropped the main smart tv remote for the millionth time on the hardwood and this a.m., this time the cicuirt board flew off it too. Tv is stuck on sesame street. Lol. My SO may finally have to go buy a new remote. I hated this flat mouse touch remote pita one anyway. I've overroad tv sound with sonos iradio, so I'm jamming to Kansas Carry On Wayward Son song on now....bet he'll be up soon lol!
My day is homebound with this big storm yet to show up, ahem... Food prepping. I Dropped 3.5 lbs since Sunday. Onward !
White chicken chili,
sweet potato, egg, veg, muffin cups.
Vegtable soup
Apple cinn overnite oat jars
Tonite:, chicken sausage, veggie pizzas on tumaros whole wheat 60cal wraps for crust. Some boom chickapop for movie time, after dinner.
We've shelved all the alcohol for now as well. Lots of water going down.
Sorry for the delay Raine. Sux to have to count on others to do their jobs so things work out for us .
My taxes are Turbo tax simple, I'm just a single working broke chick. I didn't cash in any investments in 2019 to have pay tax on, so doubt I'll itemize since lastest standard deduction raise... We'll see.
Have a great day BBB!

Good morning BBB friends.
Ah, tax season. We don't have all our documents, yet. For the last several years we have had our taxes done, for free, by the tax center on post. They have soldiers who get detailed and trained to enter the information into a program. Their work is reviewed by a couple levels of supervisors. Our taxes are really simple, anyway. Ironically, back when I was working Civil Service and had three different income streams and quarterly estimated tax payments, I did my own.
We're looking forward (ha!) to a snowy few days, starting tomorrow night. At least schools are already out on Monday.0 -
Steph, just answer the questions and Turbotax will process; you can even add in CPA review; never understood why person would go to all trouble of getting everything together and then reviewing with person who is just going to input into a tax software package and then pay hundreds of dollars when max I believe for Turbo tax is around $200.00.
Congrats on BP Lee!!!!
I believe all accountants are OCD when it comes to their desk, I know I was, it may have looked a mess but I knew where everything was and which pile was what
Sunny, is walking like arthritis is acting up again; walking around in circles and just standing staring into space, like small child wanting someone to hold him; will be 14 next month started him back on meloxicam
Way to go on loss Mary!!! YEA!!
Raine, get onto contractor, if they get through they can put in for inspections before MLK day
Lou, its hard to cook for one even with a stocked kitchen; could do like Mary, cook and put up in cartons for future, if will eat in week refrigerate longer freeze.
No chance of snow here, above average temps through Thursday, 70's today with rain through next week.
Enjoy prom Skip,

Lee, I can’t imagine you at 325#
Mary, hoping for snow since you’re ready??
We send taxes to a guy. Or girl. Who knows. Same firm and I’m not ready and that’s ok.

Finally starting to snow here, well see what we end up with.
So Watching Vikings and 49rs. I'm plotting containers gardens. Packers/Lambeau field is hiring snow shovelers tomorrow 12 bucks an hour... you get paid at shifts end. Not bad imo. Too bad I'm a 2hr drive away.0
