    Morning, Gang~

Thanks, Sam!!! Yup, can see that maiden on the horizon: U.S.S. FRIDAY!

Another busy day yesterday and repeat today. We'll get there though.....

Picked up right where I left off with WW - not sure why I got out of habit of tracking!!!!! Love the new APP.

Should be an antics filled day here in DC - no matter what side of the aisle you applaud....

Mary - we got tix to go see 1917 tomorrow night. Can't wait.

    Morning BBB

We are hanging at home this morning. Landlord needs to do laundry and the machine is in our apartment and he has workers here and we don't want to leave the apartment unlocked. He is leaving for the US today.

We may go to the SanSe festival in San Juan today. It is supposed to be like Mardi gras in New Orleans. I doubt we will stay too long as super crowds really aren't our thing. But the music and dancing would be super fun to see.

    Good morning.

If by listening to a guy with a surprisingly good voice since the words "Donald Trump" over and over again, then yes, I've taken in a concert in the Austin City Limits, Mary.

I also prefer fresh ground pepper, but all the good stuff is back in Chicago. So, I make do. I rarely use salt, so those shakers are really there as a courtesy to Cecilia and potential visitors

    Good morning BBB crew.

You can never tell about the weather in Central Texas, Lou. I recall taking down the Christmas lights wearing shorts and a T-shirt. A week later it was 20 degrees. We had a "blue norther" blow through one spring, too: temperature dropped 40 degrees in about an hour.

Rita got out and played in the remaining snow with DGS, yesterday. She was sore, afterwards, but the little guy is great for a mental pick-me-up.

    Mornin!

Nice Lou, if only your one lone singer was all the chanting going on here in past 48hrs, goodgosh seriously Im astounded on the bs that's being said, do folks really buy into this radical stuff one side says about the other? Skip, how bout you keep the DC peeps corralled close to home and out of MKE, LOL. And how the heck did we win the DNC this summer? MKE needs to quick build a wall LOL. We have Summerfest, the Packers, the Bucks, the Brewers, all winners, that's all we need. Politics seems to bring out all the nutzos on both sides yikes. Portugual is sounding marvelous, do they welcome middle class stable law abiding neighborly, retired & present hard working mericans, we can all move there?

My friends hubby passed last evening, no sooner than he got all settled in his new hospice room snug as a bug, may he RIP. One week to the day from his stroke.

I thought last night was Thursday all evenings, my honey reminded me 3x it was only Wed.

I got a new step counter this week, old school style, nice and simple and not expensive or fancy. It shows Im needing to record many many more steps a day on it! I also ordered a new pair of walking shoes with some xmas gift money.

Doc mentioned if my insurance, which I haven't check with yet, doesn't cover the shingle shot, I should check with Walgreens they tend to be cheaper then the medical clinic is.... ? I'll look into the insurance today if I have an extra forever to spare time wise....

    be safe, be happy BBB

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • The TV screen reminds me of the old Bergstrom AFB with it's RF-4Cs. Great assignment.
    • I imagine your neck of the woods is going to be a real circus for the next month Skip.
    • Last day of warm weather here today. I think we are headed into the low 70s. I might need some scoot time.
    • Our community is all excited about a new PJs Coffee shop that opened this week. A welcome addition.
    • Enjoy the SanSe festival Steph.

Enjoying seeing Skip turn his "Good Ship Lollipop" into the U.S.S.Friday. All aboard!
82°? 82°? in my dreams. I have been in snowy Idaho and snow snow snow. It was beautiful for sure. Nice that Rita got out in the remaining snow Dave. I enjoyed doing a walk in Idaho in the snow with my wife.
Wow Mary can't believe a health insurance company wouldn't cover a shingles shot. Hrmph!
Hmmm Portugal sounds good, and any Port in the storm as in the fortified stuff. Yum!
    Stay comfy all!

    Only 73 here yesterday
Awakening at 4 this morning to "DRIP DRIP DRIP" all my work yesterday was for nought,
3 different roofers have tried to find where water is coming in, I thought I had it fixed before; this is getting old
    Mary, prayers for friend
Taking DW to the Big city north of us for lunch today, ordered her BD present on line should have been here Tuesday
DMIL has gone to senior center, at least that gives DW a few hours without "WHAT" I did't hear that when nothing was said. Took DMIL yesterday to have hearing checked, said hearing had gotten worst could mot make out what was being said, told doctor to get her to repeat what she said, DMIL could do that, just could not tell what was meant, she tells doctor "if she makes it to Saturday she will be 92" she may not make it because either DW or I may kill her

    Mornin' BBB.

Took opportunity to rest up this morning.

LMAO watching the cat stalk birds and squirrels on bare lawn. 41 degrees here. Getting ready to take dogs for a walk in their favorite area.

    Keep Austin weird, Lou.

Kelly, I am a bit of a pepper snob too. Gotta be fresh ground.

Leaking ceiling and DMIL. Double whammy.

I'm getting vaccinated with whatever they'll give me at this point.

Sorry about MLK getting the DNC, Mary. I agree. It's gonna be a real zoo.

Skip is living in a real *kitten* storm between business as usual in DC and the Virginia Governor's gun ban.

    Grand kids are good therapy.
