Should i stop dieting?

I was told today that I needed to stop dieting. In 7 months I have lost about 60 pounds. My goal weight is 175 before I was planning to bulk. My body fat is around 24% or so. I'm 5'9 193.7. I was told that if I kept dieting I would end up with lots of flab on my chest and stomach and that I needed to get my calories to maintenance level and to focus on getting shredded. Some have told me to go ahead and start bulking up for about 4 weeks. What should I do?
I'm 26 yrs old
5'9" x
193.7 pounds
24% body fat
I do strength training about 4 to 5 days a week, cardio right after strength for 25 min or so
I was eating 1700 calories but after exercising it average 1100 to 1200.
I was told to start eating at maintenance calories of 2400 Cal's and to not eat my calories back
Today I started doing High reps and lower weights hoping to tone my body.
Am I doing things right?

Hey, Abram.
First thing I want to address..
High reps low weight is NOT the way to do any form of weight training. Stick to High weight and lower reps. (4-6 6-8) Kind of range.
You are eating too little, for a start and I've calculated you some macros that you should follow for 3-4 weeks and see what happens.. I've added in the activity for 3 days a week strength training (3 days is really all anyone should be doing for strength training)
These calories would still be a deficit and there is nothing wrong with being in a deficit, loose skin is loose skin - you can't just "bulk" into loose skin.
2160 calories
193g protein
173g carbs
77g fat
Don't eat back exercise calories and this is the kinda training you should be doing..
