    Good Morning BBB.
Looks like we will be lucky to get in our house my the end of the month. The excavator had equipment issues and it is delaying the schedule since all dependent on final grade being complete.
Mary - sorry for your loss
Lee - glad you could get some R&R
Sam - I feel your pain with the water leak.
David - sounds like Rita had fun in the snow.
Bill - nice that you are back on the program.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Mornin' BBB.

Wind is howling. Lost power yesterday for a while. Am spoiled with generator, even though it's not automatic, it only takes 5 minutes to hook up and power the house back up.

Sorry move in is being delayed, Raine. Frustrating, but good things come to those who wait.

Serious sign stealing scandal in MLB. When I used to coach little league, there were other coaches that coached their players to steal signs. Although I know its part of the game, I didn't think teaching it in little league was appropriate. As for the MLB, grown men ought to know better than to cross certain lines.

Great day yesterday just hanging out with dogs and cat. Got out for a bit for a little fun with pups hiking and doing marked retrieves. Had a good talk with me dad, icing on the cake.

TGIF to me, Skip, and Mary. We are the only ones that still punch the good old time clock, right?

    BBB OP ;-)

    Hear! HEAR! TGIF!

This has felt like one of the longest weeks ever!

VERY STRONG winds overnight here. Had to chase trash cans twice before going to bed.... Good grief.

Raine - you are close! Can't wait for you and Tom to get settled. The house looks amazing!
Lee - we priced out a whole home 24KW generator.....some neighbors just did it - may pull that trigger.

Going to see the movie 1917 tonight. Thanks for recommendation, Mary!

Lou - hows life in Cowboy Country?

Sam - find the source of the leak yet?

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Got out for a nice ride on the scoot yesterday. Ended with a stop at our new coffee shop. Great day.
    • I have my annual check up this morning. Labs were done 2 weeks ago so it is what it is.
    • Hopefully they'll get the excavator fixed Raine and get back on track.
    • Have a great day BBB.

Yeah I think baseball players have been stealing signs for years. I know football teams have multiple signs and different folks giving them to try and confuse players. Not windy here but some wet snow flakes above freezing. Hope to walk soon if not slippery.

    Good morning BBB crew.

Baseball has always had a strange set of ethics: cheating is OK, as long as you don't get caught. Gaylord Perry made a Hall of Fame career out of cheating and getting away with it. But baseball also loves tradition. I think the current outrage stems from the use of technology to steal signs. If they couldn't do it in the 1930s, they shouldn't do it, now.

Rita and I are going to catch a matinee movie, then eat dinner. That's the old folks Fridate.

Morning BBB - yes yes TGIF and pay day, that is always good!!!!

My weekly Fri a.m. WI yielded a downward reading -1.5, I'll take what I can get.

Skip, enjoy the movie 1917, the director/camera action did an amazing job imo!

Sorry, Raine, fingers crossed for some schedule improvements!

Good you got a ride in Dennis!

We may go to the boat show this weekend, just for something to do, plus it'll get me some steps! Snow is suppose fall.

So, sadly the funeral for my friend is the same day and time, 2/1/2020 that I must fly out to Orlando, sigh. With that, I will attend this Sundays church service with my friend (his wife) since I can't make his memorial. I'm sure their pastor will say a prayer for him, as will I, and it'll be nice to be there at their family church with her and their 2 sons, and 3g-kids at service this Sunday morning. I have placed an order with our congressman for the U.S. Capital in DC to fly 3 flags in his honor/memory on 2/1/2020, the date of his memorial service. The 3 flags flown will then be sent to each of them; one for his wife, and to each his sons. Each will come with a certificate, and I'll get them each a wood/glass flag box they can display it in. He was military police stationed in Germany during Vietnam, and also a city of MKE officer here for many years there after, til his first son was born 30yrs ago, then decided to hang it up and worked for city hall until he retired about 6 years ago.

Sounds like from my ds1 Cowboy country is getting lots of rain. Stay dry Lou

Hope Sam can find the leak and get repairs done!

Bet Lisa has a date tonight!

Bob/Dave/Steph , enjoy your beautiful parts of this country walking, hiking, biking!

Be well, be safe, be happy BBB !

Much cooler today but not too point to justify why DMIL is walking around in a heavy jacket in house in which we have a good furnace which keeps heat at 69.
Can see a little blue in sky this morning, rain tomorrow because I have to go to Dennis's old hood for DMIL's birthday get together, 92 tomorrow.
Stopped yesterday and let DW look at a couple of vehicles, she has DMIL's Equinox that she has never liked any part of; if she finds one that she says she likes reckon we will bite the bullet. Hard to justify vehicles costing twice what our first home cost to build.
Hope all comes out great Dennis and you have a great report
    Skip enjoy long weekend
    Hope Rita gets good report
Have a guy who claims he will be here Monday to look at roof

Mary what a lovely gesture especially since you can be at the service.

It's almost 4 here and I haven't eaten since late yesterday afternoon. Wasn't hungry for snack last night and we don't eat breakfast. We were going out to lunch but the place we picked wasn't open so home to cook instead. Not dying but will certainly be ready for Thai peanut chicken that is almost ready.

It's a snow day at "home".
