Each month, I post a new monthly challenge promotion on the MFP Challenge board. BTW: @craigo3154 taught me how to do that. Thanks Craig!!
Most of the time, we just run that promo during the last week of a month. Then, we do NOTHING to promote the team.
Surprisingly, this month, we have had several people pop in since February 3.
From my POV, that's great!
You are welcome to get to know us and to join with us as we encourage and support each other in the healthy disciplines of:
1) getting at least 20 minutes per day of exercise...you decide what exercise is to you
2) strive to intake no more calories per day than you have chosen for weight loss or maintenance. You are the boss
3) keep track in a timely manner of your caloric intake
4) either post to the UAC every day or at least every 3 days.
Team members strive to be in the monthly Winner's Circle. You can be in the monthly Winner's Circle if you fulfill the requirements above. Any intentional or unintentional shortfall becomes a Pass Day. Members are allowed 3 Pass days per month.
If you go over 3 Pass Days...no big deal...no Winner's Circle, but stick with us and just keep trying to get to your goals.

Worked in the city today. Caught the train in and out. Walked to a further station than the nearest to get my walk in for the day.

I firmly believe that someone who can make the UAC principles habit will reap the rewards for the rest of their life. (healthy weight, healthy mobility, long and active life).13 -

Welcome new members! I agree with @craigo3154. I also noticed that my "I don't feel like it today (s)" have drastically reduced. Because I don't want to come here and say NO for exercise
Interestingly, I have found all ways to incorporate 20 minutes plus into my most busy days. It's amazing what excuses we can give ourselves when we want to do something or talk ourselves out of something that we do not want to do.11 -

Couldn’t get a connection yesterday, so trying again this morning.
All 3 ticks in all 3 boxes for yesterday 11th Feb. Back at work now for approx 6 weeks, getting online is going to be a fourth element to the UAC!!8 -

3 x’s yes. I’m not a good patient and I’m looking forward to getting past this cold. Way too far under on calories because I did an hour each of Pilates, Spin and kickboxing today. Lol all I did was sleep and workout, not the worst sick day.7

I had a pretty good morning because I woke up "not dizzy"............lol so I headed to the gym. I couldn't do anything laying down or on the floor but managed to get a nice strength training workout in by using both free weights and machines either sitting or standing up.

And I still have my 3 pass days left but will probably use two of them this weekend......8 -
Exercise? Yes! 151 minutes; a walk, functional training (to include stair climbing and moving O2 cylinders) and climbing and Beat Saber a la VR.

I am back on track for the time being. Weightlifting & the week after an extended fast, & knowing I am going away next week makes staying on track a challenge. I am in control of what I eat even when I am away. I need to keep repeating that to myself.6 -

Welcome newcomers! They even put up with a sinner like me . Well, I've missed some days but it's not so bad. Though I have failed to track I have exercised and eaten wisely, even with company and celebrating my 34th anniversary. However, the February Winner's Circle is already out of reach.
