Happy Monday, BBB! What's everyone got going for the week? I ended up making 8 bouquets yesterday for the shower. I sent Dd23 pictures, and she likes them. Whew! That one is super-picky about stuff, so I'm really glad they passed inspection.

This weekend we're doing month 1 of the Anabelle days. From the book I gave her for her birthday, she gets to choose 1 to use each month. This month she chose the sleepover, which also includes a blanket fort, baking cookies, games, puzzles, crafts, doing nails, and reading books. It should be a good time! :)

    Mornin' BBB.

Great to see you kicking us off this morning, Lisa. Congrats on two grandsons on the way.

Dryer died yesterday. DW is heartbroken. 20 yrs old. I think we paid under $300 for it then. Replacement is gonna be $500. Having it delivered this Thursday. Good thing I have plenty of underwear.

    Morning BBB

So exciting to see your family growing Lisa. Little boys are so much fun. Way different than girls. I see nurf guns in your future.

Going to hike El Yunque again today then will wash the car while we have a good place to do it. Then will mostly pack up. This place is ok but the internet is spotty and he has been doing construction the last week or so. Looking forward to a change.

I talked to my sister for a long time last night. She is so busy with FT job and 3 kids in sports that we play phone tag a lot. Her oldest is a junior and ranked 2nd in state in wrestling and beginning to pick out colleges. He is leaning towards SD school of mines if he can get enough scholarships.

    Good morning BBB

What happened to the Packers? Whoop'd.

Finally full blown winter here with the snow we got the other day now cold snap.

Sounds like a great fun weekend in store with Annabelle, good to see ya Lisa!

Hope things are progressing for Raine!

Don't expect 20yrs from the new dryer Lee, unfortunately so they say.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Good morning.

An appliance that lasted 20 years? I hope you're giving it a proper send-off, Lee.

Congratulations, Lisa on the two pending additions to the Society of The Twig & Berry!

Went to see Roller Derby on Saturday night. Not nearly as professional as I remember when I was a kid. The jerseys were roughly in the same color pallette, for example.

    I picked up a t-shirt because HECK YEAH! uhlr45p57fcr.jpg

LOVE the t-shirt, Lou. Surprised the filter didn't change it to "*kittens* del feugo".

    Good morning BBB crew.

The roller derby I remember had a lot in common with professional wrestling. Big Joanie Weston was the chief villain among the women, skating for the Bay City Bombers, I believe.

Our washer and dryer were purchased the year after we moved into this house, so they are 16 years old. I still think of them as the "new" set. My mom is still using a washer and dryer they bought more than 40 years ago.

Late check in after a miserable bachelor day of bad food choices and good football. Ugh.

Mr Coops in mourning without DMIL and DW. Did concede to come sleep with me at 3:30a. Ugh.

Today is catching up on papers and work.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Good to hear from you Lisa.
    • Breakfast this morning with the ROMEOs at Chick-fil-a.
    • Not a lot going on here. Trying to stay warm. Lows in the upper 20s last night.
    • All the HDMI ports on the TV died. I have a picture through the RF connector but... Do I keep the wounded TV or look for a new one?
    • We've had good luck with washers and dryers. They last a lot longer than the TVs.
    • I hope the house is progressing Raine.

Dennis - I'm upgrading my basement tv. Trying to figure out what to do with the two year old one I'm replacing..... Its yours if you can figure out how to get it to you! 75" Samsung Smart TV.....

Doc, you don't have a problem with having the biggest and the best do you? That is a very generous offer but I don't think a 75" TV would fit in my set up. I currently have a 60" and I might be able to shoe horn a 65" one in but that's it. As you mentioned the logistics would be a real challenge too. How about your VFW?

Ah Lisa that sounds simply WONDRFUL for Anabelle!
Dave is right about roller derby. We did have a gal on the GOAD board who did roller derby for awhile. I think she was a lawyer but certainly a great woman.
And Dave is right about the old washers and dryers-heck refrigerators too. Lasted "forever". I replace a simple heating element in a dryer once and put on a new belt once after decades of use. Nowadays they act like it's a big deal if they last 3-5 years. Are ya kiddin' me???
OH MY! OH MY! Lou can ya say that?? Sadly I know too much Spanish.

    Good afternoon
Congrats on the weight loss Steph. Hope you like your new home.

I’ve only seen roller derby on tv and it was hilarious. It was on Laverne and Shirley. So, just acting.

We replaced our water heater yesterday. Went to early church had it in and going at noon. Not too shabby. It lasted 7 years.

I ended up at the dr Friday. I got a shot. Feeling better today.

Lisa, your life is sounding awesome getting to be a grandma. Maybe one day I will be one!! Not too soon though. We have college to finish up. Ha

Mary, our packers blew it for sure.

Donating the TV sounds like a great idea. Maybe a woman’s shelter or homeless shelter could use it?

    Good Evening,
Lisa, good to hear from you, enjoy sleepover and shower; I love all grandchildren because we can spoil them then send them home for their mom and dad to deal with.
    Lou, like shirt,
Steph, hope you love new place
We had a washer/dryer set that we used for 22 years then gave away because newer set at other house; don't know how long they used set. Current set is almost 10 years old.
Glad you are feeling better Kelly
Skip, hope you enjoyed bachelorhood; when is DW and DMIL due back?
    Large yoga class this morning
Went to Athens to purchase DW a new vehicle she had driven last week; agreed on everything after much negotiation and put $500 down to hold; schedule pickup at 9 in morning. We stopped and ate supper, they called trying to get us to finance, ask them to see if rate lower than mutual guarantee; thirty minutes later called and said vehicle was already sold. DW disappointed but I reckon it was not meant to be.
    Will have grandson tomorrow
